    • Best tire irons I have ever used.
So good in fact that I got a couple of pairs of them. Built tough enough to take abuse. I actually tried to bend them and could not do it with all my 190 pounds. Didn't even tweak them. The added bump on one end is nice, keeps the bar from slipping. Nice rounded ends with no sharp edges to damage your tire's beads if used properly. I highly recommend these irons for car tires and larger. LOL, all my buddies have seen them and used them. Yeah, that's why I got an extra set....... Everyone wants to borrow them. And everyone that has done so has brought them back with nothing but good to say of them. They have gotten nothing but high praise. I did notice they have some less than 5 star ratings. I don't get it. Why didn't those folks leave an actual review letting everyone know what they didn't like? I really think those ratings are from trolls that have nothing better to do. Like I said, NOBODY that I have loaned these to have said a single bad word about them. I admit I got them at about 1/3 the cost because of the VINE program (We have to claim them as income for tax purposes. Yup, government wants "their" money.) but, take a look at some of my other reviews and you will see, I will rip apart a bad item. THIS isn't one of them. Again, I highly recommend these tire irons. 2 PCS Tire Bar, Tire Iron,34645 Tire Mount and Demount Iron. We live on a remote ranch and always have tire issues. Whether its vehicles, farm equipment, tractors or trailers, they all need tire changes, from time to time. It is time consuming, and expensive to drive in to town to get a tire repaired, so we have started doing our own, whenever possible. We have an old antique manual tire machine, as well as a harbor freight tire machine. They both work great, but these tire irons are a welcome addition to the other pieces that we have. These are nice heavy duty tire irons, for mounting/dismounting larger tires. They have a nice black finish, and flattened ends to slip under the rims and remove the bead. They are nicely crafted with a bump on one end, to prevent slipping. These are some of the nicest tire irons we have run across, and we are very, very pleased with them. If you have tires to change out, then these are what you want. I highly recommend these. ... show more

When I ordered these I wasn't sure if they'd get here as they seemed they would be heavy if made right. Well, they almost didn't make it due to the fact they ARE DONE RIGHT and kept trying to bust through the box on the way, but the Postal Service was kind enough to patch it as it moved, it just took quite a bit longer to arrive due to the extra care along the way. Now here, I'm very happy they made it (no fault of Amazon) as these will finally get the job done much better than what I have been using. Where I am, we have two tire stores that sell street tires. I need off-road tires so I have to order them in and change them myself as the stores will not change what they do not sell. These are the same as the tire tools I had in my big shop where we changed truck tires. They'll do the job and some others too. ... show more

    • Plenty long for lots of torque
Got these for the garage for if & when I ever need to pop a tire off and swap it out without needing to bring it to a shop. These are quite impressive for being able to get the tire loose off the rim to pop off. The length of them really help with the torque you need to get the tires loose and over the edge. Having two so you can work your way around is a huge plus as well. I've seen my dad use long screwdrivers and regular prybars. That will not be needed anymore with these. For the number of times we've needed to change out lawnmower tires over the years, I wish we would have had these back then. ... show more

Although Megadeth is probably one of the all-time best metal bands… we are talking about these metal tire irons. They help pry tires off and on rims. I normally don’t do a lot of tire work as I find it simpler to let the pros handle it with the fancy machines but somehow these prices have gotten crazy over the years. I have a few trailers around the farm and one in particular will never see the road. The valve stem broke and instead of making a trip to town, I simply broke the bread and replaced it. It took maybe 15 min which is much quicker than running out and paying someone. Having tractors, equipment, mowers, and trailers, these are a must if you want to save time and money.
