The two black metal wrenches may work if their fixed opening sizes match the size of what you are wanting to tighten or loosen. Unfortunately, even though the seller advertises them as "universal socket wrench" and "a comprehensive solution for common household plumbing tasks" and "should cover a variety of application scenarios", for me they don't match what I need (loosening a hex brass fitting that is holding a faucet to the underside of a counter and removing a flexible hose nut). The metal is strong and there are 11 different size wrenches built into the two end plates of the two multifunction sets, but those 11 sizes may not correspond to the sizes of what you need. An alternative would be a basin faucet wrench as that would fit variable size fittings (like a pliers or open wrench would fit a range of nut sizes rather than having to have a set of wrenches in various sizes). The multifunction wrenches may work well for some if you are lucky enough to have plumbing fittings that correspond to what this pair of wrenches offers. ... show more

Clever idea to have several different wrench sizes all on one tool. Whether they fit your nut and whether you can fit this tool to get at them is the issue. Those under sinks are usually pretty tight. Use a screwdriver or pipe inside the tool for torque leverage. Good day.
