I really am very surprised how much I like this mat. It definitely keeps the mess inside and is easy to pour left over soil out and wipe down. I appreciate the corners where you can button them to keep everything inside or you can leave it unbottoned if you want a larger area to work on. For me, the surface space with it buttoned is great. It was the perfect size where I could place the bag of soil and a couple planters with room to work. It folds up nicely and has a Velcro strap to keep it together. I have seen other reviews where they roll up the mat, but I just folded it back up the way it came and it stores nicely.

The measurements of this Repotting Matt was purchased with the intent of covering the exterior cage of my condo's air conditioner wall unit with a bungee chord to prevent water entry during hurricanes. I snapped the corners of this repotting mat and placed it over the exterior air conditioner unit with a bungee chord wrapped around and over the interior circumference of this mat. This mat survived 115+ mph winds, during Hurricane Ian and successfully prevented water from entering sideways into the air conditioner unit from the rain and winds. I have had flooding in previous hurricanes from not having the exterior of the air conditioner unit cage protected. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE. Next time I will wrap two bungee chords around the interior edges of the mat, instead of one.

Not as sturdy as it appears. The edges will not stand up as pictured. I opted for this product as opposed to less expensive products hoping it would be sturdy. But wasn’t.

For the money and utility, this is a good item. I'll note some areas for improvement, but we are happy with it. Pros + Smart size and rolls up nice and small + The corner snaps are a great idea. Nice feature at this price. Cons - It could be a sturdier, but no complaints for the price - The strap is a bit small (it makes you be attentive while you roll up the mat if you want it to fit) and since it is a small, loose, separate item, I imagine we'll lose it soon enough. A better strap would have made this five stars no problem.

I am into indoor gardening and the mat helped. Waterproof and easy to clean up. It is not easy to roll up for storing. It is always too big to tie up and i have to keep trying.

The product is exactly as shown. I'm liking this product because I actually do do a lot of planting indoors, especially in my sunroom where I also have an area rug. Couple times a year when I transplant and clean up all the potted plants, I inevitably get dirt and water on the rug and floor. I could just get a big tarp of some kind to put over the work area, and I have in the past. This product goes a step further by having snaps on all the corners, thus allowing the edges to fold up and create a lip on all sides! Now the dirt and spillage stay inside! How clever! The material isn't the stiffest, but pretty good. It's water proof, too. The lips could be higher, the material could be even stronger, but otherwise, it's a good product that does what it's made for.
