They're a bit short, but I don't mind that. It's the sound they make that's important and both the black and the white heads produce great sounds on bells or tongue. The look like they'll last for quite a while. You don't want to find mallets like this that start falling apart.

The sticks are way smaller than the usual xylophone sticks. I will save them for some other percussive effects, but they are not right if you are a professional on the xylophone or glockenspiel. See the size comparisson in the picture.

    • Too quiet - maybe I’m mistaken with this?
We got these as extra mallets, but they feel like they’re made of felt, like it’s so eerily quiet it gives the effect of being a drummer with sound-proof drums. It’s a near silent sound. Perfect for xylophoning if you want nobody to hear you, not even yourself.

Are much smaller than I thought! When I received them, I am not even sure how a child could use them. Maybe there are made for toddlers starting to play drums? I just returned them, otherwise I would send a picture.
