These stainless steel wool scrubbers are awesome because they make hand-washing (appropriate) dishes so easy, and they're so much more durable than single-use brillo pads. If you cook, and handwash dishes, these are definitely worth the investment!

    • Not super durable, but usable
These are fine, though aggressive use can cause them to tear and become hard to use. Since steel wool gets dirty when used with dirty pans and paint-on-glass scenarios, this is tolerable. It's helpful to have enough of them to leave around in different locations.

Both of my small pans were similarly extremely charred. I just finished scrubbing 1 of them and look at the difference. It took about 15 minutes of some really hard scrubbing to get the black off. It doesn't look brand new but it's a pretty big noticeable difference. I will say, it's better to scrub when the char is brown, before it gets black. I scrubbed another pan that wasn't dark yet, and the char came off relatively quickly and wasn't as painful. I'm definitely not gonna be able to reuse the scrubber I used.
