This adapter is perfect for my project. I could build portable devices with M18 battery pack now. The adapter fits very well and comes with power switch and fuse holder which make it even more useful. Overall, very happy with this product.

They fit and lock on to the battery correctly and work to power custom projects. Has an inline fuse holder, extra fuses and a power switch already mounted. I like the power switch but it really is just good for its installed inline application. Though it could be mounted in a round hole, it is so close to the adapter body, pretty much no mounting unless you cut/splice some wire in inline to give you slack. When splicing, you want to mount the switch then attach your leads because the body of the adapter will not go through any mounting hole.

The media could not be loaded. I started using these to power some of my hobby electronics projects while working on them. These battery connectors have good positive engagement with the locking mechanism, but it requires a firm push to ensure it's connected on both sides. One of the connector sides sometimes look like they are connected, but upon pulling, it backs off. This happens with both battery connectors on several Milwaukee batteries, but once they are locked, they don't back off even with fairly aggressive movement. They don't lock well on the knockoff batteries, but neither do the real Milwaukee products I've got either. If you use knockoffs and want a good lock, maybe look for some knockoff battery connectors from the same manufacturer. These work well with the real Milwaukee M18 batteries. The metal pins in the connectors are about the same size and thickness as the pins in my drills so I don't expect these to cause any damage to the contacts in the batteries. Note that the power switch is on the ground and the fuse is on the hot side. I'd prefer to see the power switch before the fuse and the load, but these are plastic and aren't made for full frame grounding design. Either way, they are functional and work well for my needs.
