This Rize Lab 2 Pack of Vision Hero Capsules arrived double safety sealed. The label provides product information, ingredient list, suggested use, company details, lot number and expiration date. Each bottle contains 60 capsules, with recommended dosage 2 caps per day. Interestingly, no ingredient information is supplied on the Amazon product page for this supplement, so there is no way of knowing what is in the formula until the product arrives. Upon receipt I was surprised that the ingredients listed on the bottle included only inulin, burdock powder and 3 oligosaccharides, with absolutely none of the known beneficial eye supplement ingredients, such as Lycopene, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin or Vitamin E. Maybe that is why the product page does not included this company's ingredient information, especially considering the pretty expensive cost for this Vision Hero supplement. In short, if consumers were supplied the ingredient information in advance they many choose another product with clinically tested ingredients vs this formula featuring ingredients that seem to have no studies or clinical testing information available to show any possible vision benefit, (other than the most general, such as antioxidant) that i can readily find. Per label information it appears that this supplement is made by someone else and then simply branded by Rize Labs in Sheridan, Wy. In my opinion as an everyday consumer, Rize Labs needs to disclose, in advance, the complete ingredient information for any gummies, vitamins or supplements of any kind offered for sale, in advance of customer purchase. Like others I was surprised that none of the well-studied supplements were in this capsule, but, eh what the heck, it didn't look like anything harmful so let's try them and see what happens! I didn't notice any improvement in my vision, per se. However! I did notice that I had less of an issue with eyestrain--looking up from my computer to focus on something else, like someone at my office doorway, happened a lot faster and easier than it used to. I was surprised when I noticed it. I also didn't get twitchy eye when looking at my phone (briefly! Just checking a text!) late at night. So this isn't like getting me to 20/20 vision or anything, but I have noticed that it's helped in some small ways that are useful to the computer-work life. ... show more

What's interesting about Vision Hero is that there is no ingredient list posted on the web listing. I kind of expected the known beneficial eye supplement ingredients, such as Lycopene, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin or Vitamin E would be in the ingredient list, but to my surprise they weren't. Vision Hero is made up of fructooligosaccarides (FOS), xylooligosaccharides (XOS), galacto-oligosaccarides (GOS), inulin (artichoke), and burdock powder root. Oligosaccharides are carbohydrate/sugar molecules. I am not a doctor or chemist, but I don't believe this product actually would not be beneficial to eye health (maybe not hurtful, but certainly not beneficial). I think it is poor business practice not to fully disclose the ingredient list to the consumer. If I had known what was in the product, I certainly would have not ordered it. ... show more

    • Might be More Appropriately Labelled "Gut Hero."
The ingredients listed on the bottle, a number of oligosaccharides along with inulin and burdock root, have legitimate health benefits, but there is no evidence directly associating them with vision and eye health. Oligosaccharides are a carbohydrate found naturally occurring in a number of plant sourced foods and act as a prebiotic. Inulin’s are a naturally occurring polysaccharide and are fundamentally a dietary fiber, also produced by plants. Burdock Root, another plant, is also a dietary fiber and a source of inulin. Based on the listed ingredients then, the capsules are delivering a heathy dose of prebiotics, typically associated with gut health, and two sources of dietary fiber, also associated with intestinal health. The obvious conclusion then is that this supplement has genuine and specific benefits for the health of the user’s digestive system, but no explicit benefits for vision. After taking for a period, can not say I notice any differences, which might be called a good thing, no side effect, working with what else I am taking, Rize Labs ACV gummies and one other supplement and works well for me. These Vision Hero capsules list several pre-biotic oligosaccharides (FOS, XOS, GOS), inulin and burdock root as main ingredients; these differ significantly from other vision support supplements on the market, and, at least on the surface, would be more aligned to digestive health functions, as most of these ingredients do not even leave the intestinal tract. The capsules themselves are almost free of smell and scent. Each bottle provides a 30-day supply, based on suggested use. So far there has not been any positive or negative impact from this supplement. Considering the cost, I would probably look elsewhere, as there are many other supplements on the market containing ingredients with more broadly publicized vision health benefits. ... show more
