So this is only $110 but mostly on sale for $100 I can cut it some slack because it does go up to 120 HZ if you're using a regular HDMI port it says 144 HZ but it isn't if you're using the regular HDMI one thing to know is if you're not on PC the colors are going to be really washed out because in your Nvidia control panels you can increase the color vibrancy to make this look like an expensive monitor another thing to know is it this is one of those monitors the higher you look on the monitor the brighter is and the lower you look on the monitor the darker it gets so you're going to have to look at the monitor straight on so yeah in your settings for the monitor there isn't really many options you can change the coolness settings you can change the contrast but you cannot change the saturation which could make your color fibracy go up so for consoles I don't know how you would make this look good because the colors are very washed out but overall you can't be it for the price it runs buttery smooth no screen tearing or anything like that overall a great product for the price but I would spend a little bit more money and get a 144hz sceptre monitor for around $150 if you're on NextGen consoles or even on PC If your on last gen just stick with a 75 HZ monitor because last gen is stuck at 60 FPS so it won't do you any good but you can get these 144 HZ monitors around the same price as you can a 75 Hertz monitor so if you want to be able to have something that's future proof you could go with 144hz Also do not get a VA panel monitor the colors look beautiful but the smearing and Ghost is very horrible making it look like it's low fps get an IPS monitor with 1ms to 5ms response time for good colors and view angles and no smearing but you could still go with a TN panel monitor which is what this is but sceptre makes good ones with way better color than this one does but not offer anything above 75hz with TN panel ... show more

This is my 4th gaming monitor. I've tried several other monitors in the past of various sizes but needed a compact monitor for my desk. This was the smallest gaming monitor I could find before looking at the "portable" options. For only 100 dollars, I'm blown away! The picture quality is excellent and I enjoy the 144 Hz aspect of it for my gaming needs. My only slight complaint is that the monitor stand is a little low for my liking. Currently propping the monitor on a shoe box until a VESA compatible monitor arm comes in! ... show more

I bought this for travel actually as I am now fond of using my little Minusforum PC with almost 18 TB of drive space I added to it to hold my late wife's and my whole collection of movies and tv shows collected over the years on iTunes and I think this works better for me as I usually don't carry my Alienware laptop around with me once I get to the hotel I usually just leave it secured in the room so this should work as it does have my games on it as well and this 21 and half inch screen is much bigger than the 15-inch screen on my laptop I will have to modify it for the folding mount stand I order for either the back of the monitor itself or the stand as there is a protruding mounting point on the back for its original mount stand other than that I've only used it so far on my home desktop just to see how it works and No complaints so far, haven't tried games on it yet but don't foresee any issues with that ... show more

For the price of this monitor it's astounding what you get. My sample arrived with zero dead pixels and in pristine shape. The panel (while not the highest quality) is very decent, with good response time, deep colors and very little glow - the only downside is that there is noticeable ghosting, and while this doesn't bother me much given my use case, it might be more troublesome for others, so it's something to keep in mind before purchasing. I've seen other reviews here complaining about the monitor's internal menus, but I really had no trouble with it. It's certainly different than navigating the menus of most other brands of monitors, it's nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be, at least in my opinion. Another thing to note is that while the monitor is capable of 144hz, this is only when using Displayport - HDMI is limited to 120hz. ... show more
