Actually bought these to install on my wife's 02 Avalanche Z71 being her tailgate latch broke so I put these on each side of the upper back bed and designed it so it will close and they work great

Both broke. The first one didn’t last 24 hours. Used as dod gates inside, a small dog bumped the gate and the twist part falls on the ground. Not impressed at all!
