This is perfect... exactly what I was looking for. I started a new job and was given a badge on a lanyard to wear around my neck. I really didn't want to wear it that way, but I needed to have it on me at all times to get in and out of doors with badge swipe pads etc. This has a little clear piece that goes through the top of the badge and snaps closed. Snap seems very tight and have not had any issues with it opening up on its own. You can easily attach that metal part shown on back to a pocket, the top of your pants or wherever you prefer. It has a retractable line so you can extend your badge out from the holder, swipe it and then it immediately rolls up back into place. It's perfect! Seems durable. Very happy with my purchase.
