These flashlights are so cool, they are a good weight that feels sturdy but not heavy and have a tactical look to them. The best part though is all the different light options and features, the way you can focus the light beam is really useful and the lantern feature is so cool, I have never seen it on a flashlight this shape. Suprised by the quality. Machined aluminum, good finishes. Small enough to fit in your pocket. I bought for kids to chase crabs on the beach. The beam is bright enough to walk safely on the beach during turtle nesting season without disturbing the turtles. Was great for the dark sky park, but wasnt durable over time. Just ensure you'll never drop it and it works great and stores away super tiny. The adjustability of the beam was great, and helped our treks back and forth from the viewing field to the campsite not end in disaster while also not disturbing other stargazers. ... show more

Bright and wide! I tested these out in my apartment as soon as I got them to see the field of light and just amazing! Beyond my expectations really. They are light but feel sturdy for their price, while also packing a lot of power. The size of them kind of shocked me, since they are between 3-4 inches (probably didn't read the specifications). However, the size makes it perfect for me to fit into my camera bag for efficient storage. I have no complaints about how it looks and I am looking forward to using it soon for a Grand Canyon trip combined with astrophotography. I can update this review after they are use in application. So far, these little lights seem like a great value. I got them to help me see where I’m going when walking to my blind or stand in the dark, and they do the job perfectly. I like that you can adjust the beam to narrow in on what you’re looking at. The red light helps preserve night vision once it’s lights out, and (in theory) won’t be as likely to disturb wildlife. These lights are small, simple to use, are super bright, lightweight and easy to carry in your pocket or clip to some molle gear. Batteries (AA) last a ton of hours and are easy to instal. These are great for small applications - not a 100 yard flashlight.
