Very easy to install and the motion sensor feature works great in the closets and the utility room when your hands and just need extra light. I really like this light as a choice for areas where you don’t have an electric option. We have a basement with a few closets that would be difficult or relatively expensive to run electricity to a switch. So I purchased a couple of these lights to put in closets and they have worked remarkably well. They respond to movement in light and darkness, which is nice. They also have different light settings which my wife likes because she hates really white light and prefers the more warm tone in most cases. Out of the box, this one charged up in about 1.5 hours with a standard iPhone little white box charger. Since the magnet plate mount sticks to the ceiling with adhesive, I am interested to see how well it sticks when I have to remove this light to charge. I think the surface it’s on will have a big impact on it adhesiveness. I fully expect this to pull off after two or three recharges. However, a more substantial double sided material like a foam tape would probably work well if it comes off. I also really appreciate the magnet because I can’t tell you how much I get frustrated with twist off mounts like you find with any fire detectors. I think this light is plenty bright for the space we put it in and it also allows you to change brightness with the remote. Overall, this little light provides a lot of function and features for the price. I’m totally happy with this purchase.

Cool lights, poor battery

Cool lights. Pros: sufficiently lights up small space (but requires multiple lights if space is large); easy to use and install, sticks* (check cons) very well to the ceiling. Cons: not necessarily rental friendly. I say that because we stuck one to the ceiling and needed to take it off, and not only did we end up ruining the magnet, which required a new order and rendered it unusable, but we also ended up ruining the ceiling paint because this thing sticks like crazy. So just a warning: be very sure you're certain about where you're sticking these things, because you'll likely ruin your paint if you need to take it off. You'll also need a new order because this only provides 1 magnet, which means it's not transferrable to other locations. Second con is that while the batteries on these are rechargable, the lights go out after not even 24 hours of use. So pretty weak lighting. It's easy to take off and charge but it's a bit of a hassle that the battery dies so quickly, which means you'll have to be charging it everyday. Overall, would probably only recommend if you only need one and you don't need to use it for long periods of time (like maybe for extra light in the closet or something).

Bright and accurate color temperatures - super sturdy, too

The light is bright and I love the magnets so that I can put it almost anywhere. The color temperature settings are also varied and nice; the neutral is a true neutral and not a blue LED masquerading as a neutral! The motion sensing and timing work well, and the remote is responsive. I have mine in my shower and it seems to be holding up well so far. I only knocked off a star because the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, but for the price and general quality, I can get around charging it. the cable that came with the light isn't loose and shows no signs of breaking, either. Definitely a great light if you want a solution that's portable and doesn't require wiring your house. Super renter friendly!
