Let me put it this way: quality from unpopular or up-and-coming business is always touch and go. Some things are great, some things are mediocre, while others are downright depressing; that is not the case here. While there are only 3 temperature settings, they are impressively bright, well diffused (you can hardly see the individual LED's, you have to really look for them). The tripods provided for the lights are also surprisingly sturdy and potentially useful for other applications. The lights themselves have the typical camera mount threading on two sides of each lamp (portrait or landscape). I’m using this lighting setup for photographing handmade embroidery stands, and it has significantly improved the quality of my photos.
