These are sopme really excelent tarps. Solid grommets to tie too. They're not water proof but they keep a lot of it off the things it covers. The size of these were perfect for what I needed them for. Thet're nice and thick and are easily stored when done.

it has been though winter ,high winds an rain, I have four of these seperating the covered walkway seperating the back of my property, they faded a little but thye are solid and still pulled tight form top to bottom rails, I can unhook a 6 foot section east and pass a riding mower to pass though, A nice wind and privacy block from side street to half my yard hidden, This material is worth the money still good after first year in sun and weather,

For a lighter weight tarp these are perhaps the best value I've found without near doubling the cost. The olive green will fade to a lighter color in a relatively shorter time than liked with constant exposure. The sewing is reasonably consistent, straight seamed and crafted well with a modestly adequate and properly placed amount of grommets securely anchored. I have purchased other sizes and found them suitable for average duty, using heavy ones for higher rating needs. Simply by canvas weight, I would never recommend a lighter tarp like this for full time duty on semi's.

For many reasons, I have a preference for canvas tarps rather than poly tarps. This was exactly what I needed to cover my stack of firewood, and for a great price. I have noticed that other reviewers have comments on color fading and imperfections, and yes indeed the olive drape color is fading, and there is at least one imperfection I noticed in the canvas (I didnt look too hard). These are not fancy pieces of canvas, they are tarps. For the purposes of a basic tarp, those details are minor, especially for the price point. These are good for keeping my firewood dry, without the negatives associated with poly tarps. I am knocking 1 star off only because the advertised water resistance is not 100%, but about as good as can be expected for any 12 oz canvas tarp. Next year I do plan on applying a wax mixture to maximize water repellency. Would buy again for the price of 39.99 for 2 pack of 8x10.

The statement that the grommet spread is 24” is absolutely not true and misleading for the 8x10 double pack and the tarps are closer to paint drop cloth weight. The 2 pack 8x10 is what you should expect for the cost. Not waterproof or water resistant without your own application methods wax or oil. For a Light weight tarp it’s okay for shade.

Perfect size to throw under my tent. Sprayed with waterproofing. Camped for 2 days in the rain, worked perfectly. The high end water was coming from, I folded under so water would go underneath the tarp, not between tarp and tent, and it worked perfectly. Well made, double material at grommets. All in all, I am not asking much of the tarp, just to sit under my tent. It’s not lightweight if you’re backpacking, but it was a nice cushion from the ground and felt like extra padding moving around in the tent. For my personal purpose, 5 stars
