These are pretty ingenious little bee hydration stations - I love that they work with wide-mouth mason jars, as I have a ton of them. I used my Ball brand mason jars to set these up, and they worked great, and were super-easy to set up, even though there were zero directions. The assembly piece is pretty intuitive. There are only two things I didn't like: First, there are no directions or tips on use, and a heads up about not moving them once inverted would have been helpful. The silicone isn't super rigid, and if you fill them up and make the mistake of trying to move them around once inverted, any little bend or bobble in the silicone creates a leak and you get a spill. Luckily this happened in the garden for me. Could have been messy if I'd done this in the kitchen. The way to avoid this is to not move it when inverted - just keep the mason jar upright with the silicon water dish on top of it as you move to the spot you want it in. Once the little channels are filled with water, turning it back over will make a big mess - so choose your spot well, THEN flip it over and place. The other thing is that I think they are a bit overpriced - especially when there are so many other options in the market to choose from. I get that it took time to develop the design so it fit on mason jars, and they are cute, but for almost $10 each, it's not the best buy out there. I hope this review has been helpful. *** Update Just in case you are wondering about how the color holds up over time - it fades. Have had these out in the garden for over a month now, and they are fading - no biggie to me, but some folks might want to know. Package doesn’t include the jars; includes the colored rubbery pieces only. I used an old spaghetti sauce jar that seemed to fit okay. The rubbery water feeder part stretches to go over the lip of the jar, but not very tightly. The rubber part is very flexible, so between the not very tight seal over the top of the jar and the floppy rubber, when you turn it over it’s a little messy/tricky. Just be careful to do it over a sink or outside. I placed mine in the shade where I have some pollinator plants with lots of bees. The floppy rubber base made it so it contoured the ground surface well, but also made it somewhat unstable. I’m not really sure how durable this will be, but in our 100*F weather, it’s good to have a water source for the critters. It is cute, overall. ... show more

Seriously, this is the best bee feeder we have ever bought. Super easy to clean and install and the bees cannot crawl inside it, We love it so much, when the colonies for our almond trees come around they have enough food too to get from orchard to orchard. Great product.
