Drawers are flimsy and do not close correctly when locked you can open them easy. I would definitely not recommend. I have not put items in them yet but the instructions were terrible nervous to put items in the drawers.

Made very sturdy, looks nice. I'm super happy with it- my husband put it together as it had many pieces but they all fit. FYI...Just have husband put it together while he's watching sports and it won't seem like such a big job :)

    • Keep a Good Stiff Drink Handy While Attempting to Put This Together

I needed to purchase a new filing cabinet for my home. This one looked like just what I needed. It was, but it was so much trouble putting it together. I took out all of the pieces and sorted them according to the letter each piece was assigned. The first problem I encountered was one of the side panels was not shaped correctly. Fortunately, i had the tools to fix the problem. When it came to assembling the drawers, the slots and tabs did not line up properly. I went to my tool box and was able to fix the problem. Putting the back panel on the drawers was next to impossible. I managed to get it on the drawer, but I couldn't attach it to the drawer because the holes, where the screws went, did not line up. I only hope the backs don't fall off. I also could not get the top of the cabinet attached. I'm using it in my home, and since my dogs won't be getting in the cabinet, it wasn't a huge deal. For other people it could.be a HUGE deal. The instructions were poorly written and difficult to follow. The screwdriver, which was included, stopped working because slivers of it kept breaking off as it was used. I did have other screwdrivers so I used those. The cabinet will work for me, but it was too much effort for what I received. If you purchase this cabinet, prchase a very LARGE bottle of your favorite liquor before starting.
