I’ve hauled every type of trailer with every type of coupler. I bought this to replace the coupler on a 16’ flatbed that had a lighter weight coupler that needed to be rebuilt. In my application, I had to cut the old coupler off and weld this one on. I’ve got the skills and equipment to do this. Therefore, it wasn’t a problem. I’m pleased with the new setup. So, the lesson learned is make sure the frame pitch is right for your trailer. The angle was wrong for my trailer, so I had to send the hitch back (Which happened with no issues) ... I really like how well the hitch was made, and sad I couldn't use it. just be sure the angle of your frame is correct for the hitch. ... show more
