**Product Dimensions 12.2"D x 13.78"W x 16.54"H **Size comparison: took crappy angles of the 2.6 version I bought and sized up a large squishmallow and one hospital sani-cloth wipe container. **Current area of use: Near corner of room (don’t currently have a need to hide it in a closet [no room] or mounting it) 🌱First time buying a lock & digital safe that was advertised as Waterproof/Fire Safe. Obviously I was able to gather my more valuable items that younger siblings get to and try to mess with. 4 stars because the 1 star removed was trying to get wiggle around the battery cover and put in batteries. It is serving its initial use which is key pad lock and they spare keys. Fortunately I live in a region and roof over my head where the weather patterns have no need to worry for wildfires or serious hurricane/flood warnings. Praise God and hopefully that this Made In China safe will continue to be of good use to me until I no longer need to worry about earthly possessions. 💖🙏🏼✝️ ... show more

I received this in the mail maybe 30 minutes ago and it's going right back. I HIGHLY doubt this is waterproof or fireproof. The metal it is constructed of is incredibly thin it feels flimsy. The two anchor holes at the bottom leave a glaring issue with water, pests, heat, and humidity getting in. It was lighter than described coming in at 24.8 lbs. and it has a rattling noise coming from the compartment with the chrome security bars. It is indeed "45mm" thick in the door but only a portion of the door. The rest of the door and the entire body of the 'safe' is only 2mm thick. The directions were clear and easy to follow, the key worked exactly as described and it opened without issue. But once I opened it I knew it wasn't for me. ... show more

This thing absolutely NOT fireproof or water proof. The door when close leaves a gap where they would at least put a fireproof gasket. I've had fire safes in the past and the walls were at least 1 1/2" thick to resist fire. This thing is crap. Very thin, maybe 1mm thick walls. The safe is advertised as fireproof and waterproof but it is obviously not waterproof with holes pre-drilled in the back and bottom of the cabinet. The door has no seal either. Other than that the safe looks like good quality. Just said about misleading advertising.

How is this safe advertised as waterproof when it has two large holes in the back where water can reach all the contents? It’s not waterproof at all. Not everyone wants to hang a bulky safe on the wall. This is really disappointing; there could have been better options for those who want to mount the safe. Now I’m left with a safe that will flood instantly in an emergency. What a waste of money! ... show more

    • Where you install the batteries I the device to set your code it started to smoke.

Light weight metal unsure how its Fire and Waterproof . Only problem is a contact number to call for questions or concerns 🤦🏻♀️ Also states it’s waterproof but there are2 holes in the bottom for securing it to your floor . So how is that waterproof ?
