So when this arrived in a tiny flat package, I was really worried that it was going to be unusable. I pulled it out of the vacuum sealed bag and it quickly "expanded." I put unfolded it and to my pleasant surprise, it looks and feels great. It has a full rubber backing which is great because we got this to go in front of our couch in our corporate apartment for our elderly dog. We don't let him on the couch so he sits and lays at our feet by the couch. This helps him get up without the slipping he experiences on the hardwoods. This is super soft, the design is nice (although you'd never mistake it for an expensive rug) and the fact that it doesn't slip without our having to put anything special underneath it makes it great for our purpose. So why did I remove 1 star? Well it works for our purpose and being that it is in an apartment that we only visit a few days a month, it's a great rug. I wouldn't necessarily put this in my primary residence and for that reason I removed one star.

For a while now I’ve been dealing with mixed feeling towards these kind of rugs. Since in the past most of the rungs in my apartment where made of a similar material and I have to say they didn’t age well and to be perfectly honest in a short amount of time.
