This is a very unique, simple to operate bathroom or kitchen sink water heater, perfect for situations where you need cold water on a temporary basis, for example if a main water heater is turned off and you just want hot water at the sink. It's a perfect size for me not too big, fits under our sink easily, you barely notice it. It has very simple standard connections, many people will be able to install this themselves I know I did fairly quickly. Our situation is that it takes a very long time for hot water to reach our bathroom sink, so this is installed so that we can have immediate hot water. The water heater is not tankless, it actually has a small tank that takes about 15 minutes to heat up to get things started, but at that point will give you some continuous hot water for a while, perhaps even enough if you wanted to try using it for a shower for short showers - 2.5 gallons should be enough for a quick shower. It has a standard plug, so it does not require any extra wiring. It does have a pressure overflow valve they were supposed to connect to some piping if some worst case scenario causes the heater to over-pressurize, but I think most people aren't going to bother with that type of extra effort unless it is going to be installed as a permanent installation primary water heater that will be getting steady use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It is such an easy, simple solution! Ease of installation: It's not going to get any easier than this. Functionality: It's perfect for getting hot water where you need it, without a lot of fuss. Size: It fits under the sink/counter. Water temperature: It gets the water nice and hot. This 2.5-gallon under sink water heater is a great little unit for quick hot water at a single sink. It heats up fast and the 110V 1500W setup makes it easy to plug in without special wiring. The compact size fits well under the sink and doesn’t take up much space. It’s perfect for a garage or utility sink where you need/want hot water but don’t want the hassle of hooking up to the main water heater. Installation is simple with basic plumbing knowledge. It works exactly as it should, and is the perfect, simple solution to the, “how do we get the hot water to this sink” problem.

Installation is very easy. I want to completely switch to thankless and get rid of my gas powered but I wanted to have a trial run. What I mean is, this will be used for a small work shop where I need hot water, especially in the colder months. The unit itself is a great size. I honestly think it can even be used as a quick shower unit. It functions very well. I have it on a smart wall plug and it turns on in the morning before I get into the shop. The water temperature gets hot very quickly. It's very nice knowing you can have hot water in places where it would take a lot of work to run pipes. Not to mention, many times when the pipes are long, the water is very cold until it all drains out. This unit is a much better cost efficient way to warming up water quickly than using a recirculatory. Incredible unit, great value.

I process my own met chickens on my small farm. When all of the work is finished, I would haul all the knives, scissors, cutting boards and the like into the kitchen for cleaning. Now with this simple little 110-volt water heater, I have hot water available out at my barn, right where all the chicken processing is done. Having ready access to hot water makes cleaning up much less hassle. If you have any routine plumbing and electrical skills, you will have no trouble hooking this up. If plumbing and/or electrical work is no friend of yours, call in professionals.

I put this in the hallway 2pc bathroom of this old house as it did have water, but there was no hot water line coming in.... Now it's not a problem. This wentright in and fit under the sink without a problem Funny thing is, it had 3 outlets in this little bathroom, but no hot water.
