Bought this to house a control for an outdoor heating pad for cats. The control is in the middle of the wiring for the heating pad and even though the heating pad is rated for outdoors, I felt the control portion needed protection from the elements. The control is the size of a small remote and fit inside this box perfectly. It is well protected from the rain. The inside of this weatherproof box has stayed dry and I have had zero issues. Particularly like that there is a seal around the openings of where the cords would go in on each end of the box. Would recommend this product.

I'm using this to house a lightning arrestor coax connections for my ham radio antenna. It keeps the connection bone dry and when I need to disconnect for a serious storm, i just leave everything disconnected in the box. Works like a charm. Very good product.

This was about the 3rd one of these type of connection boxes we bought and the one that actually did what it said it would. It kept the water out! We needed something to cover a large extension cord, with multiple cords attached to it, for the outdoor Christmas decorations. This worked great. But the price of one is a little high. We bought other cheaper ones, that the water still got into, and some we returned because they were impossible to set up, so I guess you get what you pay for. We will buy more of these for next year. Hopefully on sale.

This outdoor electrical box is both sturdy and very tight. I admit it took about a minute to figure out how the cords and closure all worked together, but once I did, it all made sense and worked great!

Had this for a few weeks now and its endured a few rainstorms just fine. I'm using this boxes to hold the in-cord button controller and extra cord for a set of outdoor Govee projection lights that are staked into the ground and pointed at our house. Each box contains a removable black cable guide or hook on each end that helps retain the cord inside and probably provides some weather proofing. The seal between the lid and the box seems fine as well and the latch mechanism securely keeps the lid tightly held to the box. Only feedback I would provide is that the black cord hooks on each end do come out easily when trying to close the box with cords inside. It was somewhat frustrating getting the cord switch controller and coiled extra cord into the box only for the black hooks to pop out of the ends just as I was trying to close the lid. So if the black cable guides in the product could be made bigger to sit more securely into the plastic or make the black hooks out of a grippy rubber material that would improve the product in my opinion.
