Wow! This would make a really nice gift for a budding artist. When I opened it all I could think was how much I would have loved this when I was a kid. This comes in a nice large cardboard box with a handle. There are so many wonderful items in the kit. There’s a coloring book that has kiddy pictures. I kind of wish these were for a bit older person. They are quite juvenile and I would love that they were more for a young teen or someone around maybe 10. That might be my only critique. I apologize that I forgot to show the coloring book in the photo. It’s thin and got tucked under the sketch pads. There are 4 nice pads: An acrylic pad, a watercolor pad, and two sketch pads with 110GSM papers. The kit includes 2 smaller canvas boards too. All together this is a good amount of paper to use for projects. There is a plastic palette with wells for paints and two fluffy yellow sponges. There is a mini color mixing chart for anyone who isn’t sure how that works. The part I especially like is the box. It’s a wood look in the cherry color with a top that opens to reveal a set of basic colored pencilswith an eraser and pencil sharpener. Below this are 2 paintbrushes, and 3 “sets of watercolors. Cakes. There’s a nice set of oil pastels in a pretty good rainbow of standard colors. A top drawer pulls out to show a set of acrylic paints and a mix of brushes. The brushes are very soft. The paint is in a standard rainbow of common paint colors. In the bottom drawer are a set of crayons. I gave a few of these a little coloring test and they aren’t the highest quality but they do ok and there are lots of them for a good rainbow plus good neutrals. I got this to play with myself. I wanted some acrylics for a friend who wanted to learn a little about art, and thought perhaps this might be a way to encourage her when she came by to just enjoy art as a fun thing that isn’t so serious. I’m honestly pretty impressed by the set. The little box seems quite sturdy. I think it’s made from a type of pressed board similar to Masonite. The acrylics catch a bit half way out, but a tug gets them to release. Not perfect, but not bad. I kind of wish that drawers were a bit deeper, but at this price for the set it’s a fine deal. There’s a lot of coloring fun in this set.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this I purchased this for my daughter's birthday at the end of this month and or Christmas wasn't too sure but when he came I just couldn't even help my own self in a beautiful art deco box with the handle I gave her an early birthday gift her face definitely was priceless when she opened it so I can tell you that this makes an awesome gift. As you will see in my video too cute really that made her so happy she loves it and nothing much keeps her intention for too long but she loves her arts and crafts with this there's everything in there that any child that loves arts and craves or any person that those arts and crafts will love this entire set I love how many things it came with how nice and organize it is it has a spot for everything it also comes in this beautiful organized dresser with a lock on each side and the drawers and makes it completely easy to put away when finished it comes with four books to sketch watercolor books coloring book artist broke canvas so I think there's more than four there but it comes with everything you need for a starter for arts and crafts to professional arts and craft DIYs and more. And I know it can be pricey that's why it makes such an amazing gift but I can tell you that you get what you pay for and I don't regret spending the money that I did on this because it was definitely well worth it as you can see in the video and in the photos how much you really do get with it I know they show you in the description but when you get it at home you get to actually see how nice it is I got the pink for her it's just really adorable and you can decorate that too if you would like to already did a page of each and all of the books down to the coloring book it's a great great big organized arts and crafts kit that I definitely recommend it's definitely worth purchasing... I gave this 5 stars for all of the items that are included. A coloring book for the youngsters and plenty of canvas sheets for drawing on or painting. A great selection of crayons, paints and pencils. A really good selection for the price. The drawbacks: the blue case is very rough to the touch. For me it needs to be sanded better. During transit the about half of the crayons fell out of their holders making the drawer a little difficult to open. The same was with the paint tubes. They popped up slightly. Even though items were dislodged none of them were damaged. There is no place to store the sponges, papers or pallet. Even with the drawbacks I still feel that this is a very good artist set.

The set has a good variety of oil pastels, crayons, pencils, and acrylic paint, with some watercolors, too. The majority of the supplies come inside the organization box. There's no place to put the palette, or the 2 sponges, and no room for any additional supplies. The bit of a downside is that the fit for the supplies is fairly tight. The crayons can pop up out of place, blocking the drawer from opening, as can the acrylic paint tubes. I like the variety of media to create the art on, including the painting tablets for acrylics and water colors.

We were really surprised at how large this kit is... just about all the bases are covered. The storage box is made from some type of pressboard material... so while it’s not a higher end wooden box, it is perfectly functional... especially in this price range. There is so much stuff stored in the box, it is a tight squeeze in there and after removing items it can be hard to get them all back in and close the drawers. The quality of the various brushes, paints, crayons, and media is nice. They all work well and whether you are a child, a beginning artist, or have been doing it for a while... you will enjoy using this. This is an incredible value.
