The initial listing price on these would have made them an absolute steal. I would have built a shed around them because it was that good of a deal. While they’re not as refined as the very expensive ones I have hung in my house, these really are perfect for an exterior dwelling such as my woodworking shed. They open to allow for increased air flow, and are able to be mounted between studs with minimal effort. The silver metal buttons used to lock and close the windows are not the prettiest things, but the windows themselves look far more expensive than they actually are.

Okay I think there was something wrong with the listing price for these because I ordered them at $14.99 for a pair of two windows. Like... 2 whole windows. That had to be an error based on the current prices. These are non-opening double paned windows for a shed or, in my case, a small play house. They would have received 3 stars were it not for the price, though. There are a number of floaties in between the panes of glass. There is debris from the manufacturing process (shavings of the polycarbonate material that is on the outside and what appear to be small metal shavings) in between the panes. The debris make them a little less nice to look through. I want to clean them but l can't get to the dirt. SO, 3 stars if at full price. 5 stars for $15 for 2 play house windows.

If you have a storage shed that could use some natural light, these windows are an ideal, DIY-friendly solution that's an economical option. Installation's simple: figure out where you want a window, measure the appropriate opening (instructions are easy to follow in this regard), then use a bubble level and a carpenter's square to mark the cutting lines. Drill a 1/2" or larger hole at diagonally opposed corners, then use a reciprocating or circular saw to cut the hole to size. Put a bead of quality latex caulk around the window frame, then level/center it on the opening and use the included screws to fasten it in place. Done! For such small windows, I found the quality and workmanship outstanding. They even include half-height window screens to keep the bugs at bay. And one more thing, because they're anodized aluminum, you should never need to paint the frames. Great windows at a great price. Thanks, Amazon!

I'd been looking for windows for my yard shed, which had been built without them. This makes attending to things inside a bit difficult when the weather requires the door to be closed--rainy, snowy, windy, etc. These fit the bill perfectly. These 12" x 12" windows come very securely packaged to ensure they arrive safely and without damage and include the hardware needed to properly install. I was impressed by their real tempered glass window panes--this type usually does not. The aluminum alloy framing ensures their durability and rust-resistance, with secure corner reinforcements to help keep them square even while fussing these into place. Additionally, these offer the option of having them open to help with air circulation either without screen or with (available for separate purchase). In either option, these allow in as much light as windows this size can and look attractive doing so. Thoughtfully included are illustrated instructions that are pretty easy to follow. While the installation is fairly straight-forward, these include reminders of things such as sealants and such that could be forgotten in the excitement. Overall, these are high quality windows appropriate for a wide variety of uses at a pretty fair price.
