Product is what I was looking for. I ordered two packages which really doesn’t cover all that much space but that was on me for not measuring correctly. The reason I only gave three stars is because one of the mats was badly bent. It looked like it was forced into the middle of the packaging. Another mat had the edges broken off so I couldn’t use those two. Update. Customer service reached out to me almost immediately and resolved the issue. I updated to 5 stars based on the product and especially the customer service.

This is a set of 18 EVA high-density foam floor tiles. Each tile come with two edge pieces. There are plenty of edges to go around. Not all of the edge pieces are the same which allows you to get a smooth edge all the way around. If you don't pay attention to this, you'll end up with an edge that doesn't line up, like I show in my 4th photo. This is easy to fix by ensuring you place the correct edge pieces. The tiles have different textures on the top and bottom. This is nice so that you can choose which side you want up but the primary idea is that the smoother texture will grip the floor better and slide around less. I found that the tiles stayed in place fairly well and they remained connected pretty well too. These are a little thinner than others I have but are about the same as far as durability which I would categorize as average. The quality also seems average. The color is as expected, and the upper texture is attractive and provides a good workout floor covering. There is enough cushioning without the tiles being too squishy. These are a nice size that makes them more versatile than larger ones. You can make a variety of shapes which can come in handy, for example, if you want to place them around exercise equipment or something similar. All-in-all these are nice, with a pleasant texture. They are fairly average compared to similar foam floor tiles. They are reasonable value, but you may be able to find better value for money by shopping around.

Very cheaply made, edges don’t connect well or stay together. I know the saying you get what you pay for, but you don’t even get that with these. Got 2 packs and both are like that. Extremely thin. Listed measurements are very generous compared to what you get. Buy elsewhere.

Yes, this 18 piece mat by Haulcove is intended primarily as a exercise mat. I have different floor coverings in my home gym based on their training purpose. I have a 1 inch thick cushioned mat in my general purpose, heavy bag, battle ropes and cardio area. I have a solid rubber, industrial, high density rubber mat platform, where I perform heavy lifting, including deadlifts and Olympic lifts where I know I will not be very gentle. The Haulcove is a light duty, very inexpensive, floor mat that will provide good overall floor protection for general fitness and light duty exercise. At only just over 3/8 of an inch thick if you’re looking for a lot of cushioning and rebound you will need a thicker mat than this. If you are handling heavier weights, or dumbbells, you will also require a thicker and higher density type of mat. This will not stand up to the abuse of heavy weights. I put a 20 pound dumbbell and a 45 pound bumper plate on end to test the compression and to see what type of impressions would be left. Those familiar know that a bumper plate has a much greater surface contact area than a traditional 45 pound cast-iron plate. After one hour, I removed both, you can see the impressions and the matting did not return to a normal state for almost 8 hours so keep that in mind. As a general fitness, light duty, floor protection, and for those budget minded, very inexpensive. This is a great option. Now thinking out of the box, the 18 pieces do not have to be assembled as one unit. This set can be configured in so many different ways as where I find it most valuable. As one assembled unit it measures 3‘ x 6‘ but if you’re good at puzzles, you can assemble a 2‘ x 9‘ walkway in front of something that has a lot of foot traffic or you may find yourself kneeling a lot. Or three separate sections each measuring 2‘ x 3‘. As a floor mat in front of a workbench for standing to reduce foot fatigue. I enclosed a few different photos, but if you mix and match the removable end pieces, you can assemble even more variations. A good light duty exercise mat, not for heavy lifting, but so many other uses if you think out of the box.
