So I’m a single mom with a toddler, and I was still able to put this bed frame together. My daughter even tried helping the best way she could.It’s so easy, they give you everything that you need. I thought I was missing a piece, with would have irritated me, but I found it and after that it went like clockwork. If you have any doubts, believe me when I say, just do it. Was pretty easy to set up, I did have a few hiccups but that was user error and not paying attention to the direction of the pieces as I installed them. Took longer to unpackage the parts than it did to set it up. I got the taller one so I can use the underneath space for storage and it works great for that. I purchased a long bed skirt and you can't see anything underneath it. I have not experienced any squeaking, and it seems to be very sturdy. The assembly was easy because of the cleaver design. The long pieces were made to fold out rather than bolt. Most places just required a bolt because the nuts were welded. I just received this. Set up was pretty easy once you figured out what the pictures were saying. It does not have words. I believe it’s a 5 step picture process. Make sure when applying the slats, you apply pressure to lock in the slats. I got this full sized frame for my 10 year old daughter. For reference, she is solid thick. Doesn’t know her own strength yet so she tends to flop on her bed, which caused her to break through her wooded box spring and wound up destroying the mattress after laying on the broken bed for a period. Which is why we went the metal route. This bed says you don’t need a box spring. I beg to differ. Which is why I give four stars. The new mattress I bought her is a 6 inch Gel memory foam mattress. You can feel the slats and some parts of the mattress go through the slats. Better safe than sorry, either make sure you have a thicker mattress or just go ahead and buy that extra padding to lay across the slats. Some mentioned Bunkie board but I wanted her to have cushion, comfort and stability. I went with SINWEEK Full Tri Folding Mattress 54 x 75 x 3 inch and it fit this full size frame to a T. The thickness is just right! That folding mattress has many versatility and it’s super soft and comfortable. The metal frame of this bed seems pretty sturdy. I sat my 5’4 280 lbs butt on it and it held great. It doesn’t wobble nor squeak. I believe this is day three or four…. If I need to update, I’ll do that. But so far so good. Oh my god! This bed frame is EVERYTHING I both needed and wanted! Good and sturdy, I was unsure at first. However, I found it easy to construct, it came with all the pieces and tools required and I'm so happy with it. I made the mistake (after years of sleeping on a badly warped mattress) replacing it with a new kind size mattress and trying to pinch pennies did NOT replace the old box springs. I still suffered many sleepless nights tossing and turning and pain filled days with back and shoulder issues. Well, I bought this frame, got rid of my warped ass box springs and I slept like a baby last night and woke up feeling the best I've felt in years. An added bonus, I have SO much storage space under the bed frame! I think it is 16" tall? Anyhow, I decluttered the bedroom hiding storage boxes and boots under the bed. I can easily get to everything under the bed. I can't recommend this enough. 10 out of 10, all day ... show more
