I had this installed in our rental which we will be moving back to in a couple of years. This is a nice looking logset, even better than the original that quit working. It has double burners instead of a single and puts out great heat. The ad stated that it comes with a remote but there was not one in the box. Really like that the unit was already for either type of gas or All-in-one design. I had to change to NG which took a bit of work, but it was worth the effort. Only got a 4 because: 1) Longs look great but could be a bit better positioned to stay in place and 2) the on/Off/pilot switch a little tricky 3) instructions were VERY intimidating but I get it. We bought this set as a replacement for a previous gas log set that we’ve had for way too long. Log set is nice looking, construction of the burners seems to be well-made and heavy built and installed relatively easily. However, at this point in time, after 3 days, it will only burn for 20 minutes at a time then the flame slowly goes out on its own, pilot light stays lit, however the burners go out. Called their customer service. The person on the line said to change the position of the heat sensor, which I assume he was referring to the thermal couple, I’m not going do that. I’ll probably end up sending this back as faulty. This seems to be a reoccurring problem with this company from what I’ve seen in the reviews, even though the item is rated highly. ... show more

Easy to install and very pretty. Move the thermostat to the back of the logs. Otherwise the fire will shut off after a few minutes. We are very pleased with this purchase.
