I was soooo nervous ordering this from Amazon. However, with two canceled orders from both Lowe's and Home Depot because "manufacturer has discontinued," this was my last, timely option. Wow! I got a notification that it had shipped out almost immediately. I knew it was going to arrive in three shipments over the course of a week, but it didn't. One part arrived, first, and the other two parts, 2 days later. It got to me so quick!! I thought it was going to take forever to get from the East coast to Phoenix. Super impressed. No, directions weren't included, but a couple minutes study of the picture in the description was more than adequate. If you can't figure that out, well, I don't know what to tell you. Find someone handier? LOL. I am not someone who builds crap on anywhere near a regular basis, but I had no problem. Was not missing any pieces, either. And yes, it is STURDY. I feel very comfortable putting all my heavy crap on it. I'm so happy that it worked out! It was hard to find this width, 60", with a 24" depth. Assembly of the shelving is a two-person project. Assembly also requires 16 sets of joinder pieces, so when our first shipment arrived and it had only 8 sets of joinder pieces, we could not complete the assembly until about two weeks later when the seller finally shipped us the additional joinder pieces which we needed. This is a very study heavy duty unit. Perfect for what I needed it for. I had a little trouble at first putting it together but once I figured it out (no instructions included) it went together easily. My order came in two pieces, first I received only the poles so I reached out to customer service and they responded within two hours and were very helpful.     • Can't hold even close to the described weight

This shelf was shipped in two separate boxes without any assembly instructions or the pieces for where the bottom of the poles come into contact with the floor. The product picture shows black legs but there was nothing like that inside the box. Instead, the bottoms of the poles were hollow-edged and would have dug into my hardwood floor so I needed to provide my own pads to prevent that from happening. According to the product description each shelf can hold up to 550 pounds evenly distributed. That is far from true. I placed a Dell Blade Server that weighs less than 100 pounds on one of the shelves. In less than three hours that shelf was no longer level--one of the corners had already dropped more than three centimeters. That corner shifted down past the bottom of the plastic bracket that is supposed to keep the shelf securely in place and it did so in a matter of hours--not days or weeks. The weight of the computer was evenly distributed so the specific corner that sunk wasn't supporting any more weight than the other three corners and the total weight of the computer was less than a fifth of the maximum weight the product description claims each shelf can hold. I spent $270 on a supposedly heavy-duty shelf that could more than support the weight of my new computer and now I can't even use that computer because leaving it on this poor-quality shelf is a very bad idea. This looks solid until you put some real weight on one of the shelves but as soon as you do the poor quality becomes obvious very quickly. Don't waste your money. ... show more
