Make sure you have the correct amount of room to put this. The product itself works good. This is not a quiet fireplace. Seems not like a blow torch but it does put out very good heat. Do not buy!!. It does not work correctly. There has been many times it did not shut off correctly. It stayed lite past the setting and the room was over 100 degrees. Or it never turned on. Its dangerous. I have tried calling the phone number listed and they told me its not the correct number. I have sent 2 emails with no response!!

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, lots of notes came with the product written to express the thankfulness of the purchase and emphasize the importance of customer experience. The units remote works well and this small set puts out a great amount of heat. Only complaint would be a noise factor that I have not experienced with other propane log sets. Listen to the video, if a quite evening by the fireplace is on your agenda.

Our old log set became hard to light, had no remote and only had one flame height so we were ready for something new. We went with the 18 inch birch set. This set arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. It had everything inside that was needed the rocks and rock wool were a nice bonus. The remote worked right out of the box and it was very easy to install. I had previously bought a gas detector for when I hooked up the old set and I'm glad I had it because one of the connections needed to be tightened up. Once I did that it worked like a charm. I like that you can adjust the flame height and use the remote like a thermostat if you want. We've only had this set for one night, but I'm very thankful to have found this one.

This product worked well until it didn't. 7 months into the year, right when winter started, It seems the received for the remote is not working anmore. I called the company since it would be covered under warranty to discover that a chinese company is selling their products on Amazon. That company's website is defunct even though they list the correct phone number for Americangaslog (singular) - Chinese added an "S". I am trying to purchase the part to fix my logs so I do not have to disconnect and return for a refund to Amazon.

The item itself was excellent although it came with no instructions on what size connecters were needed or anything like that. Other than that I am enjoying my gas logs.

This fireplace was advertised as ventless however since there were no instructions indicating the chimney vent actually had to be open the fireplace sent soot out throughout the entire first floor of the house. We had the professional who installed it come back & he explained all other ventless systems include a clip for the flue but this system didn’t have that. I have 2 estimates to clean the walls, ceilings & furniture. One quote is $8,000.00 and the other is $5800.00. I’d expect some compensation from the manufacturer to offset the cleaning costs. I purchased this around May but had it installed recently. This extensive damage was done in 2 weeks since we started using the fireplace. Please let me know next steps to resolve this problem.

This is an affordable solution to my former fireplace that would set my smoke alarms off within a few minutes. I figured this would be cheaper than having someone come look at it and then charge me for parts and labor. It doesn't heat as fast as my former one but no one uses it to actually heat your home 😂 I hope not since it can be a safety hazard as they aren't intended to be used for more than a few hours. I installed the receiver on my wall where the old one had a switch with wires running to the fireplace. Everything works as it should thus far. I don't notice any noise and it definitely didn't set my smoke alarms off. It's great value for your money.
