I have it placed up high in a cabinet shelf and the picture is dark and fuzzy because it does not angle down enough. I placed a small 3/8" magazine under the back of the stand and the picture looks good now. I only get a full screen view when it is on antenna.

This TV has a good enough picture, mediocre sound, and slow, but accurate, tuning. The remote should be called a closeup remote, because it doesn't work at distances of more than 3-4 feet.

MIL needed a new TV. It was not too hard to set up. The channel reception is better than her last TV. We had to get her a simplified remote, and the TV had no problem communicating with it. I like the accessibility of the buttons for when issues occur, like when the remote is sat on and the language is changed. The picture and sound are perfect for her needs. I'm thinking about buying another, because nothing last forever and it would be good to already have a replacement. And I would choose this one. ... show more

The tv is perfect for under a kitchen cabinet. As other reviews noted compatibility with a cable box is not guaranteed and it did not work with my cable remote which requires me to use the tv remote to turn on the tv and adjust the volume and the cable remote to change the channel. Setup was easy though. The sound quality if fine however, the picture quality is not great. At some angles it appears fuzzy. We like a tv in the kitchen to catch the news/traffic/weather report before heading out for the day so it is fine for our use. ... show more

I was looking for a small TV to use as a second computer monitor, something to put side programs on while I use my main monitor. For that, this TV is great. Also, I have my N64 hooked up to it to play on, as old consoles like that really should be used on small TVs. The TV is quite light and portable, although I personally do not expect to use it that way. There are two standing setups, the dedicated stand for fixed use, and a folding leg for portable use. I initially received the TV with the bracket to hold the stand missing. I was annoyed, but using the folding leg was adequate as a temporary measure. I emailed their customer service email to complain and request the bracket, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quick and direct response. Coming from China, I was not expecting much, but their customer service was a lot better than many American companies I've had to contact. They did not run me around or blame me, just asked what I needed and mailed it out to me ASAP. It took time to ship from China, but the correct part came in and the stand worked perfectly. I wish all customer service interactions were as prompt and helpful as theirs had been. ... show more

I knew this was going to be a cheap t.v. but holy crap. I didn't need anything impressive I just wanted to watch the morning news while getting ready for work. The audio kept changing back from English over to Spanish on some channels but not on others . (The tv was setup correctly ) I tried everything. Then some channels don't have any sound at all. I ran the same antenna cable to a different t.v. and it was perfect. the remote doesn't even hold the batteries tight enough because you have to remove the cover and move the batteries around to get the remote working and keep doing that all day. The picture was kind of washed out, like not colorful , bright and soft. I won't return it, just want to throw it away. wouldn't even take a replacement if it was free. ... show more

I purchased this TV to use in my kitchen under the cabinets so height was an issue. The size was perfect but as others mentioned, the viewing angle is limited. Most of the time that was not a problem. The bigger issue was sound clarity and the remote. The remote stopped working after about a year. I could still use the buttons on the device to change channels, adjust sound and select inputs. Others commented on the sound quality and I have to agree, it was never great. Hard to find a small tv for reasonable price. This one is great for our kitchen. Used a Roku device to provide the channel selection since it has no other net connection. Keeps the wife happy while preparing great meals.
