I purchased this replacement display for my 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus. My old one had some delimitation which was causing “ghost touching”. It got to a point that I had to drive with my entire infotainment system off, because it was randomly making calls, turning on seat ventilation, and making the navigation map jump to random locations. The purchase price of a new unit would have been about $2,000.00 with a 3 week waiting period. I found replacing the display as a cheaper alternative. I actually tried to replace only the touch screen, but ran into difficulty installing it, due to the original unit having a heavy amount of adhesive keeping the touch screen binded to the underlying LCD (I actually inadvertently removed both the LCD and touch screen from my original display). I tend to be heavy handed with electronics. I ordered this unit as a replacement. It arrived within days, and I was able to install it much easier than trying to replace the touch screen alone. I actually mismanaged the installation and found there was an issue with the touch screen. I reached out to the seller, and once I provided a video with the issue I was facing, their technicians provided a response that fixed the issue (basically I just needed to push the installation ribbon in more). I have a fully operational infotainment system in my vehicle once again, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Thanks! ... show more

It was time to replace the defective by design 8.4" screen on my 2018 Ram. Easy install and works like it should. Seems to be made well so I believe it will hold up but only time will tell.

So the screen in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee began delaminating a few years ago and recently began the dreaded ghost touching. Found the part number for this replacent screen and ordered it. Simple, quick install. Screen looks far better and cleaner than the factory 2018 screen. Everything works. My only issue, and the ONLY reason this is getting a four star today instead of five is the image on the screen is off center by about a quarter inch or so. It runs great, after getting it set up, I have had no issues. I have had it installed for about 3 weeks and its great. At first I did run into a problem and I messaged the seller, they don't respond. So don't expect a response if you need one. And the links on amazon to try and fix it pull up a bike, or a bike GPS or something? The link isn't even for the screen. The screen was GREAT but getting help and contacting the seller was just not do-able. ... show more
