It has been a long time since I took welding in shop class. So long ago in fact that my highschool actually had general shop, not just wood shop, as an elective. Welding equipment has come a long way since those days. All of my arc welding was stick welding except when I had to do some TIG welding on aluminum. I love the versatility of this. I can easily do stick welding, which came back pretty easily, but I love the convenience of the wire welding and expect it to by my go-to technique once I master the feed rates and other settings. The interface is great and I find it intuitive. I also like that I can add gas and expand should I need to grow beyond the basics. I very much like the flexible little welder and it is an excellent addition to my shop.

I am a moderately experienced welder, and I got this has an upgrade to my current MIG welder. This is by far easier to set up than my other welder. My other welder came with, shall we say, less than ideal instructions, so I pretty much had to muddle my way through it. Luckily, welding isn't THAT hard, and I've been pretty successful with my old welder, but I was looking for something a bit more...intuitive. This is so much more intuitive, I had this up and running without opening the manual. Everything is right on the front panel with an icon or an indicator, so switching between modes requires absolutely zero guesswork. So this would not only be excellent for an experienced welder, it would also be just fantastic for a beginner / hobbyist welder just getting started. I gave this an easy 5 stars, for performance, value, and the easiest setup I think I've ever seen on a welder.

I have a cheap stick welder that I am not very good at. Now I have this MIG welder and on first use I find that I can draw a better bead than using the stick. I was able to put two pieces of steel together and it looked far better than what I could do with a stick. So far, I am happy with this welder. I found it easy to set up, though I had a time getting the wire to come through the tip at first. Took me a few minutes to figure out wire speed with welding voltage. Parts put together good enough for a bad welder and I was able to sign my name in a sheet of steel without effort, the bead doing so looked decent. If I find bad things about the welder, I will be back to update my review.

I only did some cursory welding on my Camaro rocker panel but the welder did great off 110. I am so very excited to have this welder. Now I just need a little welding cart (maybe even one that matches) and I’ll be good to go!

This is a really nice welding machine for a really good price! I have just used it for big welding so far, but it can be used for other types of welding as well. I'm super excited to explore the other ways to use this machine, and am very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend this welder to others!

This machine is great and does everything I need it to do so far. Not hard to use if you have any training with a welder. Big or small jobs are no problem at all. Super excited to have this tool in my shop now.
