- [Blow Back Pilot Arc]: bestarc plasma cutter features a blow back Technology, Non-HF pilot arc with CNC capability, Which prevents high-frequency signal interference and enhances cutting stability, blow back pilot arc non-touch the metal start the arc, plasma cutter machine has two connection ports: 2-pin connector for arc voltage output (1:1 ratio) and 5-pin connector for signal control. This design makes it easy to work with CNC cutting tables.
- [Air Sensor Technology]: The air sensor built in machine displays air pressure on front panel of the machine. Users can adjust the air pressure manually through the air regulator (air pressure cannot be automatically adjusted). Air filter is installed in the machine, equipped with a quick-connect 1/4 NPT air connector, ready for use right out of the box. Once connected to an air compressor, the recommended air pressure should be within 65 PSI, with a flow rate of 250 liters per minute. Note: The compressor needs to be purchased separately.
- [LED Screen Display]: The screen centrally displays parameters such as air pressure, voltage, and current, allowing users to understand the equipment status in real-time and adjust operations in a timely manner, improving operational efficiency. If the plasma cutter cannot work, the screen comes with an error code, making it easy to find out the problems.
- [2T/4T/PA/PT Function]: Post time adjustable from 3-15s to cool the torch. Adjust the cooling time of the torch head to extend the service life of consumables. We recommend a cooling time of 4-8 seconds. The PA function allows pilot arc timing adjustment up to 15s; longer times are ideal for mesh cutting, shorter times help extend consumable life. 2T/4T automatic cutting release your finger.2T is a semi-automatic cutting control, and 4T is an automatic cutting control.

I bought this to replace my miller 875 that was in the shop for repair after about 4 months of waiting I got this unit. Miller could not fix my 875 they seam not to care if it got repaired or not. I have three millers and will never buy another unit very disappointed with their service. Works alright for hand held. However, whenever I try to hook the torch height controller to it, it starts the arc very intermittently. So the only way to operate it cnc is to unhook the torch height controller and run it manually. Although the output pins say 1:1 for the torch height, the most volts I could get at the output pins is 5.4 volts (50:1)...

So far it cuts very cleanly on rusty and dirty heavy steel plate without any issue. I have not hooked it up to a table yet that's the next step. I own several plasma cutters but the price was appealing on this one. Is it as good as an American Lincoln, Hypertherm, Miller etc.. no.. it isn't (you can tell by the build quality and durability on the torch but those were 4 times the price) I have found the consumables to be way cheaper than any American brand. If your using it as a hobbyist or light shop use I think its fine. Availability of parts or service-unknown

Bought the BTC500XP to use on a CNC table since my 500DP caused too much interference. This one works just as good as the 500DP as far as cutting, clean cut on 5/8" mild steel. Very impressive for the price. Only complaint, why not provide a 50:1 voltage output instead of the 1:1 they provide. Wouldn't cost much to add in a voltage divider. Plus, there should definitely be a cover on the 1:1 voltage output. Very dangerous if someone was trying to reach for the power switch when it's running and touches that output.

I have been using this plasma cutter with Crossfire Plasma CNC with torch height control and it has performed flawlessly. Never had any kind of problem. It costs about 1/3 of other CNC type plasma cutters. It has external connections the Crossfire uses so I did not have to open up the chassis to make any.

Quality product. I'd recommend it to a home user. Can't speak for commercial use. The fit and finish are like a USA made product. The manual is OK. I wish I could buy the consumables independently versus always having to buy a kit, though.
