Great plasma cutter. Took it out of the box and cut some three-quarter steel to test it. Doesn’t cut clean through, but it will cut it. Cut half inch pretty clean. 3/8 no problem. 1/8 like butter. There’s a little attachment that goes over the nozzle that’s supposed to space the tip a little ways for the metal. For me it just got in the way and I tossed it out. One cutting thinner metal I pretty much just laid a tip on top of the metal. It cuts pretty fast so I just drag it on. I’ve been using this for a month now. I’ll update it as we go. See how long it last. Still working cuts great. I also had bought the 250 pro Welder. It works great also.

I have worked in or managed repair-fab shops all my life and I have done every welding procedure there is except underwater welding. Now bear in mind I have only used high end Miller or Lincoln products, so when I started seeing all the social media hype about inexpensive plasma cutters, well I was skeptical to say the least. After doing some research I opted to buy the YESWELDER 65 Plasma cutter to have in my home garage simply because I hate to pull out the Ox-Acc torches every time I need to cut something. Here are the reasons I chose it. #1, 65 amps of cutting power means it will cut faster and thicker material. #2, non contact cutting (Torch tip does not have to be touching the metal that your cutting). #3, the IPT-40 plasma torch is good quality and when you buy a consumable tip kit they are upgraded to the IPT-60 heavy duty style. #4. it can be used on 110 or 220 volts ( I use 220 because I cut mostly 1/4 to 1/2 steel) Now all that being said is it as good as a $4000 cutter no, but its real good for a under $300 cutter. Now I see some comments about the consumables being pricey but in the grand scheme of thing they are much cheaper than buying oxygen & acetylene. Make sure you order a consumable kit as you will need it. This is a great plasma cutter for any DIY guy-gal, or a seasoned pro on a budget.

Bought this to add to my welding equipment... put it together and only use it about 20 minutes (total, not continuously) and it worked great... the problem is after that I didn't need it again for about 6+months because I didn't work on anything that couldn't be handled with a grinder quicker than the time it would take to unhook my welder and scaling hammer and hook this up.. when I finally did need it again, used it for about 45 minutes (again, total, not continuously) and it just stopped working... no arc, no air, nothing...a lot of money for no longer than it lasted... should have bought the extended warranty but didn't notice just how short the factory warranty was or I would have!

So to start off I have never used a plasma cutter and have never owned one before but the price of this one is hard to beat especially for the features it has! Quality seems good and solid and comes with everything you need to start cutting. The only two things that makes it lose points for me is that when I received it there was a loose bolt and nut rolling around the inside of the machine. Also the air pressure gauge that came with the regulator setup did not read correctly therefore I had to buy a new one. Otherwise everything works good right of the box and hasn’t affected anything. Price is great especially comparing to other machines I have found with similar features. I got on sale and was also able to use a coupon through Amazon! Setup was pretty simple to assemble the torch and the ground clamp to the machine and you can’t really get it wrong. As far as what settings to use if you have never used one that can be a little trial and error or do some research and get a good baseline. I have only cut 1/8 inch angle iron so far but it cuts through that like butter and can’t wait to cut more! Overall I would highly recommend this product if you don’t have one for home or hobbyist use! For the price this thing seems great and the fact that is is 65amps and can be used on 110 or 240 volt is great!

This baby does everything it says it does and then some. I cut from 3/16 up to 7/8 I’ve tested it cuts 1” but not fast. Still an Amazing deal I have put this thing through its paces and still cutting strong!! I only use it on 220v.
