Very nice portable welder. Provides 5 processes, all work as advertised. The welder adjusts amperage and wire feed speed based on metal size that you enter. There are a ton of videos available, both from the manufacturer, and from users, that explain operation of the welder. I had an excellent experience working with YesWelder for a small warranty issue. Comparable to a 131 mine went down and I bought this to knock out some small stuff while I was waiting on my 131 warranty.. wire weld is all I have done but good welder smooth and steady.. not hot not fast just smooth and steady.. great part time shop guy or contractor needing small stuff done on 110 welder ... show more

(1 year update) This welder has performed flawlessly. I have expanded its use beyond auto restoration. MiG is awesome welds 5/8 plate no problem. Primarily bought for mig and plasma cutter will cut 1/2” but takes a few passes with the torch 3/8 is no issue. I do think as others have said its specs are over rated. Still have not used tig. Flux core is well ….. flux core not as pretty bud for a field repair it works. Purchase mainly for use in restoring a 76 ford truck. It has done well for body work and spot welding. I use .023 wire with the yes welder .023 roller. This machine does not have parameters for .023 but it weld nicely with it. Plasma cutter has been great cutting the frame for repair and removing rusted sheet metal. Ground clamp sucks I did upgrade it, no issues now. 12 bucks. Not sure i will ever use tig as it requires argon and the cost for a tank vs my need for tig is just not there at this time. Great machine very pleased 1 yr later ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So I’ve owned one since oct 2022, and this is my 3rd until. I’ve used it plenty but the first one I got was that the mug feature would “spit” out the wire too fast no matter how much I would try to adjust it, warrantied it out no problem, they even let me keep the old one so I gave it to a buddy that was just learning to weld, but he could only learn the rig and stick processes. The second one eventually stopped working with the mig function as well but instead of the feed issue it was now either a voltage or amperage issue. Regardless of the volt or amp setting I put it in the wire will “over burn” as if I had the burn back setting on and would spot weld if that makes any sense. They warrantied that one out as well but I have a feeling the mig function will fail again. On another note the stick mode runs great, Tig is awesome as well, so does the plasma cut but I haven’t used those processes often enough to see if they’ll hold up as well. Regardless, the customer service and warranty is spectacular, I’d love to see improvement in durability but that will ultimately affect the price, I like this brand but maybe it’s just this model that I’ve ordered that has issues.
