The ElectroBraid Heavy-Duty Line Post Insulator -White can be used wood posts, vinyl posts and pipe. Can be used independently with various conductors or as part of the complete ElectroBraid Horse Fence System Fasten your ElectroBraid wire to wood posts, vinyl posts, and pipe without losing energy through the post with this white line post insulator. Designed for the ElectroBraid fencing system but also compatible with other conductors, the heavy-duty insulator is made of strong glass-filled nylon and includes a UV inhibitor for longer life. For best results, secure the insulator with 1-inch heavy-duty screws. The post insulator works with all ElectroBraid ropes. The ElectroBraid's outer braided jacket acts like boxing ropes, absorbing force and springing back. (View larger). The ElectroBraid is a permanent electric fencing system designed to provide a safe and secure horse enclosure. Durable and easy to install, the ElectroBraid can stand alone as a permanent perimeter fence or can be moved around for rotational grazing for horses, sheep, cattle, and other livestock. The fence features an outer braided jacket made of a high-grade polyester fiber--the same type used in auto seat belts and parachute harnesses. Just like a boxing ring, the ElectroBraid absorbs force and springs back. As a result, the ElectroBraid can absorb the energy of a panicked horse at full gallop and bounce the horse back with no harm to horse or fence.Horses love it, too. Whereas traditional electric cattle fencing uses small-diameter steel wires that are hard for horses to see, the ropes of the ElectroBraid are highly visible. At the same time, the fencing doesn't feel restrictive to horses. As herd animals, horses are born to roam free in wide-open spaces. With the ElectroBraid fence, horses can see each other and stallions can see their mares. There are no places for predators to hide, and horses won't pace up and down their fence line. Owners say horses are more relaxed, because they can see you and you can see them.TechnologyStandard electric rope can fray under tension and needs constant tightening. By contrast, ElectroBraid fencing is dimensionally stable because of its braided-over-inner-core construction, which shrinks back to its original length even after stretching. The ElectroBraid also uses copper wire conductors rather than the parallel electric conductors within woven electrical horse tape. Because the copper conductors are formed in helical-coil-like springs, they stretch and bend while letting the fiber strands take all the tension. More UV-resistant than other synthetics, the ElectroBraid boasts a breaking strength of 300 pounds. The ElectroBraid is both a physical barrier and a psychological deterrent.
