Wellll, i would give it five stars but the pegs arent deep enough so if i do any pushups at an angle, they wiggle and cause excess muscle activation and limits your workout slightly. While it does make you use other muscles, that draws from the muscles you are focusing on. Its very light weight plastic. Comes with little slide preventers and is easy to use. It allows for a lot of workouts, which is good, but deeper pegs would have made it much better. ... show more

I'm not by any means an advanced gym person or athlete. I only started my fitness journey this year, and only recently for the first time in my life been able to do actual pushups. I can't do that many at a time yet, but I want to make pushups a daily gauge for my chest growth and general fitness. Being someone who has little experience with this, I'm finding this product to be really fantastic for maintaining a nice form. I realized after using this that without it my hands were placed on the ground too high up (around my shoulders) bc placing my hands on the flat ground was hurting my wrists at chest level. This makes it super easy to maintain a proper form down at chest level. I think my only complaint is that the handles are a bit hard, would be nice if they had some sort of soft grip on them to ease the strain of my body weight on them. As for the format of the handle placements, I can attest that they do all hit slightly different, much in the same way if you take barbells and do chest presses in various positions you will feel it focus more on different muscles like triceps or shoulders. I might not be an expert on this stuff, but the positioning thing makes sense to me when I think of it in terms of chest presses. The jump rope it came with is nice too. I got this to aid in training specific muscle groups, and so far I'm happy with it. It looks like a game of twister for your hands. There are a few flaws: You need some scissors to cut 4 of the foam pads in two, so they fit around the plastic webbing. Without the bottom pads you'll likely slip. In some cases the handles will wobble about 1/4" just from slop in the plastic molding. This is unnerving at first because of the silicone grips you wonder if you'd twist your wrist if the handle popped out of the holes. Pressing them further than that 1/4" and there is some resistance, so you'd probably be ok. I'm 210lbs, but if you're much heavier please be careful with your wrists. Some of the angles are indeed challenging, and I can dip my chest further down compared to just standard hand-on-floor pushups. This gives me a bigger pump sooner. Tip: Take a picture of the workout diagram, so you don't loose it. The jump rope was ok, but I already have a dedicated one so this will be a backup. Simple and effective. I'm going to leave this on the floor so I'm reminded to put in some reps whenever I see it. I never store stuff like this under a bed, because then I'll forget about it. ... show more

When I saw this product, I was really excited as I always had issues with uniform posture while doing push-ups and just like any other body weight exercise, if your posture is not correct, it can do harm; however, when I received this product, I was disappointed. Here's are the reasons why: 1. The width of the board is not wide enough for me. I wish it was wider to accommodate people with broad shoulders. 2. There is misleading information on the product page. One of the images on the product page says 300 lbs. weight limit. The description says 660 lbs. weight limit. The manual that came with the board says 220 lbs. Can somebody tell me which is correct? 3. The board is flimsy, I really wish the board was made sturdy and quality was better. You get the feeling that the board may break anytime. 4. The handle sockets are not deep enough which can cause the handle to slip out easily. That is not going to end well for the person using it. 5. This is the biggest issue I have. Using smooth silicone surface on the handle grip is not a smart idea. All it takes is the person to have sweaty palms and now you slip and have your entire body weight on your wrist and that is not going to end well. The only reason why I am giving it 2 stars is because it is a good idea and could have been made into a great product. I would not recommend this product. ... show more

Who could've thought that using something so simple could be so helpful? This truly is great if you want to target a certain area. I also want to add that for those that have wrist injuries this is wonderful. I had a serious wrist injury to my left wrist and carpal tunnel in my right so putting direct pressure on my wrists makes push-ups a little more difficult for me. This device helps to take that pressure off of my wrists. You will absolutely need to put the little nonslip stickers on the bottom if you use this on hard floor as it will slide otherwise.
