This fire wood arrived dry and well seasoned. Smells great in the fireplace. It's probably more practical to buy local firewood, but figured we'd give it a try anyway!

The wood looks nice as others have said but the first time we used it, the fire did not last because the log wouldn't burn. I'm not sure what the issue was. Haven't tried again.

My wife asked me why I was getting firewood logs after the end of the cozy fire season. However, when I explained my reasoning for picking up firewood logs in the middle of summer, even she had to admit it made sense. We have a toasty fireplace that we enjoy during the colder months. While we have an ample supply of firewood from our backyard trees, the aesthetic appeal leaves much to be desired. The wood is often unevenly split and lacks the visual appeal of store-bought firewood. Enter the Woodover 15" Birch Firewood Logs. These logs are a work of art. They’re perfectly split, with smooth edges and a beautiful light color. I acquired them primarily for their decorative value, to be displayed in our firewood holder when the fireplace isn’t in use during the summer. While I haven't burned any of these logs yet, I'm confident that they will burn well when the time comes. This wood makes for a great fire starter as it is super dry! I ended up splitting it up small for dry kindling as a base. It worked out phenomenally for my needs, lit up quickly, and burned hot enough to start my fires. It is probably used well as a decorative fireplace piece in the off months or even for a year long mantle decor. Especially for the cost, it is not a cost effective heat source. But works great otherwise.

The wood comes well packaged and easy to handle. Its nice to come home and have the wood sitting on my porch waiting for me! Smells nice and the wood is pretty. Looks nice next to the fireplace. The wood pieces are small enough to handle and you don't have to split it to get it to fit into the fireplace or wood stove. The wood is of good quality and clean.

This firewood is, well, it's firewood! It seems to be properly dried/seasoned, the wood looks like it's of good quality, it smells pretty nice, etc. It's the middle of summer, so I'm not able to test this in the fireplace write away, but I expect it should work well once winter comes along. To be honest, I don't know if it makes sense to buy firewood online in most scenarios when it'd probably be more cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and faster to just buy some wood locally -- but if you need some firewood delivered to your doorstep and don't mind paying a little extra for the convenience, this seems like a good option, and it's actually a fair amount of wood, similar to one of those small bundles you might pick up at your local garden center or hardware store, probably good for burning a fire for maybe a couple of hours\.
