I had a reliable, inexpensive laptop (Chuwi) bought 5 years ago and its slowed down over time as well as started to run out of memory. The specs on this one looked ample enough for my needs and has lived up to it so far. The good news for me specifically is that I can used the old laptop charger on this one and it has the same USB/power connections as my old one. Full size HDMI connector works fine. Since it has a 1TB drive and 16GB of RAM, its a nice upgrade from my 256/8 set-up. The N95 processor will hopefully keep up as other reviews show that its mediocre, though a better processor means more price. I got this one for $279 - pretty good for a Win 11 machine. If you get it, be ready for a bunch of Windows updates initially, as mine has gone through about 6-7 in the past week to get it up to date. Once updated, it seems to run great. It does have a fan in it, so be advised you'll need to give it some breathing room when using. I have mine propped up on a small frame designed for cooling laptops. Have had no issues with over-heating, though I've only had it a few days. The lighted key board is nice and keys are responsive, but honestly, I have the laptop closed most of the time and use an external keyboard and monitor as I use it at my desk. Should be fine for travel or in dark areas, as its relatively lightweight and backlighting is ample. I've seen some reviews saying it has an aluminum body, but its not- just ABS shot in silver. Power supply input to laptop is 12VDC. Comes with (2) types of keyboard overlays to prevent stuff from getting in between the keys. So far, so good. The battery capacity is a bit iffy though. You'll maybe get 4-5 hours without plugging it in. Just leaving it in sleep mode overnight, the battery discharges almost 10%. And that's without a lot of programs open. I'm not sure if I got the 5000mAh or the 8000mAh battery version though, as I don't want to take off the bottom panel to find out. 5000mAh is way too small for a laptop - many cell phones use that size. I'm guessing we'll see more of this type of no-name laptop from China, as it seems to have baseline characteristics of others with subtle differences, I've had H-P laptops historically and it seems the differences between the two are starting to become blurred. Unless you have really high-demand application requirements, this should be plenty, and the price is hard to beat. Not sure about customer support for it, however.

USB ports are very tight so plugging in a mouse feels like it isn't allowed Wifi Connectivity is fine and the laptop size is small so its very good for portability Setup is about expected for windows 11, its a bit slow at the start but like many computers, the more you use it the faster it gets until it ages too much. Charger is very small and limited wire length. Touchpad is a bit sensitive and I am personally not a fan Overall for $200 and next day delivery I got exactly what I expected, nothing amazing but nothing terrible

I have only been using it for a couple weeks now, but I love this laptop. I initially was looking at Lenovo laptops, but all the specs on this seemed a lot better, such as the graphics, memory, and processing speed. No regrets at all so far. It is the nicest laptop I've actually ever seen. It came with two different key protectors that fit right over the keys to keep crumbs from dropping onto the keyboard. I thought it was a great feature. This laptop is lightning fast and very easy to use and foolproof. I like the backlit keyboard too.

Bought as Prime day item. Great graphics, superb storage, backlit keyboard appreciated, seamless Bluetooth. All in all excellent value for the package compared to other name brands. Also very good design and easy on the eye. However, could do with a couple more USB ports and the audio would have been excellent if the speakers worked correctly, then disappeared entirely, could only use Bluetooth. Unable to reinstall from download. Had an IT guy investigate and deemed a hardware failure. Vendor offered a replacement, which I acccepted, shipping label supplied. The customer support was excellent, timely response (by email) and always professional and courteous. I asked for a modest upgrade because of the inconvenience, but allegedly was out 6f stock on next model up. They did offer a reasonable discount, some vendors don't. Awaiting replacement, I hope it lives up to the potential this item is fully capable of. If audio had function properly would easily have been 5 stars.

i bought this laptop for school and gaming, but this laptop doesnt really work very well, its advertised for gaming but you cant run anything higher than sims or base game minecraft, and i have to disconnect all chargers, external drives, ect before powering on or else it will stay on a black screen or the logo on the screen. its a good laptop for work or school but anything more i would just put in the money for a good computer. i givr it three stars because while it does do what i originally intended, it does not live up to its claims of bring able to support games.

This laptop has been working great for my daughter who is using it for her college work. She has no issues with connecting to wi-fi for the internet and loading web pages and uploading files to teachers and and friends. The battery has excellent life for her needs. The laptop is very thin and easy to transport around campus. The screen is bright and easy to view. The backlit keyboard make it easy for her to use in a dark dorm room with the screen dimmed. Would recommend this laptop for any student.
