  • 6 showers within 3 hours
Color: Pearl
This thing works great! Just got it installed on a Thursday and it survived a weekend of festivals and ball games. On Saturday 6 of us took showers, some were back to back without turning the water off. I wish I’d gone tankless sooner. I’ll never buy another tank water heater.

  • Compact, Powerful, and Great Hot Water Upgrade
We have been wanting to upgrade to a tankless water heater for a while now. I like the idea of having hot water on demand instead of waiting for a tank to heat up, and also not having to deal with a bulky system taking up space. So when I came across this one, it looked like a really good option to try. Right out of the box this feels like a solid, well built unit. It came securely packaged and everything about it feels good quality and well made. The unit itself feels sturdy and not cheaply made, and the compact design is a huge plus. It’s surprisingly small and saves a ton of space compared to a traditional tank, which makes it great for utility areas or tighter spaces. The display screen is a really nice size, bright, and easy to read, and overall it just feels like a well put together product. What really stands out is how well it performs for everyday use. With the 14kW power, it’s strong enough to handle around 2–3 fixtures at once like a shower and a sink without any major drop in temperature. It truly gives you instant hot water, and once you set the temperature it stays very consistent with little to no fluctuation. That makes a big difference, especially when you don’t want sudden temperature changes. The controls are simple and easy to use. The instructions were really easy to follow, and the setup process was pretty straightforward as long as you have the correct electrical requirements. Since my boyfriend is an electrician, this was actually really easy for him to install and didn’t take very long at all. Once everything is installed, it works exactly how you would want it to. It only heats water when you’re actually using it, which is also great for efficiency. It does require proper electrical setup since this is a 240V unit with a 60A breaker, so that’s something to plan for, and having a professional handle installation is definitely recommended. From what I can tell, it uses certified components which adds to the overall confidence in the quality and safety. It’s worth noting that while it performs really well for normal use, larger households running multiple high flow fixtures at the same time might start to push its limits a bit. But for typical daily use, it handles things really well. At the current price of $229.99 (as of 4/4/26), I think this is a good value and in line with similar products. Overall, this is a really solid, efficient tankless water heater that delivers consistent, on demand hot water in a compact design. It’s well made, works great, and is a really nice upgrade from a traditional tank system. I’ve been really impressed with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to switch to tankless. ... show more

  • Rock-Solid Value --- Whole-Heartedly Recommended ---
Color: Pearl
This heater is just all-around genius. It is compact, efficient and powerful. I only needed a 240VAC 60A circuit to serve this, requiring 6AWG wire (pure copper only) run all the way to the breaker panel. It has the ability to heat a shower and to let someone else wash their hands without either knowing about the other. (Edit: I got the newer, improved version that uses two 240vac breakers rated at 40a each, requiring only 8 gauge wire. It seems to be looking for up to 75 amps between the two and this feels like a good option.) The original design here was to heat the water with gas, so we needed to run the big 6/4 with flexible conduit thru the wall and then the rafters and back into the utility closet. That was an investment as cable and conduit are much more expensive now than I remember. But, as this heater will work on our solar power, it will save us the cost of the installation in time and then pay for itself and hopefully keep saving us money for years after that. I expect that the longevity will be great, as the water heater looks very well designed and all the wiring connections inside are expertly done. I found it was much easier to install than a gas water heater. It is much smaller and I could lift it into place myself. The gas line was capped and the wiring was run with help from friends with lots of experience and hubby, but I did the tankless heater all by myself. The water lines are threaded and as the connections were flexible links, I was done in minutes. The overflow had to be run to connect to the old one as the locations are a few feet apart, and that was just some PVC and elbow/couplers, an hour or so for me get it all cut and assembled. Removing the old one was done by hubby and it took almost half a day by itself. Then the other large project elements took up the rest of the day. The next morning my part took about two hours including the final adjustment of temperature as we wanted it to match our thermostatic valves expectations. So we went back and forth adjusting it by a degree or two on the digital display, making this last step as easy as possible. I found this to be a really fun project (maybe because I didn't have to climb into the attic) and would whole-heartedly recommend this for anyone looking for a new water heater as I think it is such a fantastic value. (Edit: That applies to both variants, depending on our existing wiring or how the costs of materials evolve over time. We dropped a sub-panel to allow for the different breakers and how the load was distributed across them. All-in-all we remain pleased with the design, materials and the evident are and quality!) ... show more
