I replaced my old LG that started leaking and never fully cooled my enclosed patio. This one is exceptional so far. It's been over 100 for 3 months in Texas. I have 9 floor to ceiling windows. This cools it to 75 where I set it so it's the same temp as the rest of the house. It's also quieter than my last one. Definitely buy more BTUs than you think you need. I'm so glad I did. I am very disappointed in this unit. I read many reviews and many were good. Well I did everything the instructions said to do and here I am in 107 degree heat. I was so excited xcited to put an end to the heat. This unit blows not cold. Good fan but it seems as though the refrigerant isn’t working. I bought the 14000 unit should definitely work. I would have reached out but I couldn’t find a phone number to troubleshoot. I need this AC to work!! By the time they solve the problem I will be burned up from the scorching desert heat. Please remedy this quickly. Maybe it’s the compressor. I am very familiar with these units have had many others. My koldfront unit blows cold. Please help maybe it’s defective. It’s the quietest air conditioner I’ve ever experienced! I have it in my living room and it cools from here to the kitchen, probably closer to 700 sqft. The kitchen is a little warmer but that’s expected because of the windows getting the sun in the afternoon and it not being totally open concept.
