What an amazing Air Conditioner, cooled my room instantly. It's Powerful, easy to use, easy to set up, has a great remote control and very compact. I have set up the exhaust panel by my cat door on my sliding glass door. The panel has a very slim design. I added a 4.5" X 17.5" cardboard piece at the top of the design so the sliding glass door is sealed. The Air Conditioner is fairly quiet not like my portable swamp cooler that sounded like a Huyee taking off. My room is cool and stays at a comfortable level. The airconditioner has a dry mood, works like a dehumidifier, reduces humidity from a room. There are lots of option/modes too: like fan w/speed options, sleep function, timer, swing function that moves the angel of the deflectors so you can angel the air where you want it, child lock and the best, Turbo mode which sets the Air Conditioner to COOL Mode w/temperature set at 61° and the fan at High speed so you can reach the coolest temperature in the shortest amount of time. I'm telling you it Works Amazingly well and fast. Now I'm spoiled. You'll love this system, my dog and cats do too and so do I. As a matter of fact, my dog is sleeping on the futon infront of the air conditioner as I write this review. Try it you'll like it. Really good portable AC. After careful review of a lot of choices on Amazon and wanting to make sure I’m getting my money’s worth, I bought this portable AC. It was extremely easy to set up and as long as you have a sliding window it works really well. I have a roughly 550-600 sq ft apartment and it cooled the entire unit. This definitely saved my grandma and I from extreme heat waves in a brick New York apartment. Super awesome features that allows you to chose from different settings to also help with humidity. Had to drain a couple times a week when humidity was terrible and raining outside but like any AC, it definitely has a really good drain system just make sure it’s on a slightly elevated surface. ... show more

    • Perfect Basement Cooling Solution!
I can't say enough good things about this 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner! I installed it in my basement window, and it has completely transformed the space. My basement used to get stuffy and humid during the summer, but now it’s cool, dry, and comfortable all day long. Powerful Cooling for a Large Space: My basement is around 500 sq. ft., and this AC cools it down quickly and evenly. The air feels fresh and consistent, and it doesn’t struggle to maintain the temperature, even on the hottest days. Excellent Dehumidifier Function: One of the biggest issues with basements is humidity. The dehumidifier mode on this unit has been a lifesaver! It pulls moisture out of the air effortlessly, making the space feel so much less damp and musty. Low Maintenance: The built-in self-evaporation system is amazing. I rarely need to drain it, which is perfect since it’s in the basement. On extra humid days, draining is simple with the back plug and hose.
