This is heavier than I expected. Once you get the tools in it, it can be closer to 35-40 pounds. That being said it's pretty sturdy. I have only had a small issue with the top drawer having to be in the right place to get the top lid to close. It has to be open to unlatch the drawers. This is not an unusual design, it's just that my top drawer tends to miss the slot a bit so I have to jiggle it so the top will close. It's not a big deal. I like the tool box. I work on antique sewing machines and it's much better than the soft side I was using. ... show more
