So far I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. It does seem pretty firm when you first lay on it like a 7-7.5 on firmness but I'm hoping it will get a little softer after a couple weeks. Also agree with other reviewers the edges are a little softer but beside that its a good purchase.

This mattress is so comfortable, I honestly wonder why I ever spent three times as much on previous mattresses from furniture stores when you can just buy a bed-in-a-box like this for a fraction of the price and get even better sleep and comfort. A box bed is awesome, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind: first, this mattress was extremely heavy in the box—you definitely need two people to move it, it’s crazy heavy. Second, you’ll want to open it and let it expand and air out for a few days before sleeping on it so you don’t interfere with the process; the longer, the better. That means you’ll need an alternative place to sleep for a bit. Once it’s ready, though, this baby is good to go! It’s not as cushiony as traditional memory foam, so you don’t sink into it, but the gel foam pockets have just the right balance of firmness and softness. It fits all my king sheets and blankets, and after two months of sleeping on it, I’m still blown away that it came in the mail. Overall, this mattress has been a really solid experience, especially for the price point. For under $350 for a king size, it honestly feels like a steal compared to a lot of mattresses that cost double or triple that. Once it fully expanded, it was very comfortable to sleep on and has a nice medium-firm feel that gives good support without feeling stiff. My back feels supported, and I wake up without the usual aches I’ve had with older mattresses. That said, there are a few downsides worth mentioning. The edges definitely cave in pretty easily, so if you sit on the side of the bed or sleep close to the edge, you’ll notice it lacks strong edge support. It’s also pretty heavy for one person, around 100 pounds, and getting it out of the packaging was a workout. The compression made it a little confusing to figure out which way to unroll at first, and wrestling off all the plastic took some effort (definitely easier with two people). I do remember a smell upon opening the mattress but that went away quickly. Motion transfer is another thing to be aware of. You can feel movement when someone else shifts or when a pet jumps on or off the bed, so if you’re a light sleeper that might be something to consider. Despite those minor issues, the comfort level for the price really makes up for it. Once it’s set up, it feels cozy, supportive, and breathable, I don’t overheat at night, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly mattress that still feels comfortable and well-made, this is a great option. I’ve been sleeping on this mattress and it’s honestly the best sleep I’ve had in years. I’m a side sleeper and it hits that medium-firm sweet spot for me - supportive, but still comfortable where my shoulder/hip land. I’m not waking up shifting around all night like I used to, and I don’t feel that “sink and get stuck” thing either. It also stays pretty quiet when I move. I know “you have to try it” sounds cheesy, but that’s how this one felt for me. It needs a full day or two to fully expand after unboxing. Definite recommend from me! ... show more

I have been sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks now and it has been very comfortable. It has a balanced feel that is not too soft but not overly firm either. It gives enough cushioning to feel cozy while still keeping good support underneath. I wake up without the usual stiffness I have felt with other mattresses. Setup was simple and it expanded nicely after unboxing. It looks full and substantial in the room, not thin or cheaply made.
