Our last bed, bought just three years ago, ended up breaking because it was made from cheap wood products. So we bought this one, mostly because it's made of steel and looked sturdy. It arrived in one box that was maybe three feet by one foot, so I dreaded what the assembly would be like. It turned out to be remarkably easy for two of us to put together. I made sure to tighten every bolt as much as I could, because I don't want it to start getting wobbly. We slept on it last night, and it seems very solid, with a firm base. One thing: We realized after getting it all together that we're going to need a dust skirt, because the bed's a little high and you can see everything underneath it. Not a deal breaker, but I wish we'd realized it before we put the heavy mattress back on.

Bed was as described. Sturdy , easy to assemble, well worth the one. I would have given 5 stars but a part was missing. I was able to find a way to make it work but is still frustrating. I would definitely recommend this bed.

I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a spare room queen size guest bed and was looking for a value buy. I believe that I found it here with a $40 off tag. This is a sturdy metal frame bed with plenty of ground clearance to store some baskets or blankets underneath. The bed itself comes in a smaller box and seemed like it was going to be a real pain to put together BUT it wasn’t. An hour tops to put it all together and everything was labeled nicely so there isn’t any confusion. Comes with a small Alan wrench, which is the only tool you need. I assembled this by myself with no additional assistance. The bed itself has plenty of metal slats that make it sturdy. The only aspect I though that would be different was that I expected the headboard to be slightly taller than it actually is. But it’s a guest bed so it doesn’t really matter to me that much. Anyone could use this bed for sleeping. It’s comfortable, minimum sound if put together right (I have slept in in once and had zero sound), sturdy and handcuff compatible… what else could you want!? I did pair this with a 10” mattress that fit extremely well.

Like a lot of people on here, the bed was missing an essential bracket. Now if you’re like me and you’ve spent the better part of three hours putting the frame together, it’s infuriating to find out that Amazon’s solution is to completely dismantle the bed, shove all the pieces into a box you tore up to remove the frame and try again. What happens next time when the same thing happens. Also you can’t ask for a replacement to be sent first to take out the missing piece and then ship it back with the entire contents still packed away neatly inside. What would their solution be if you paid for the warranty. Same thing I suspect. We were able jury-rig the bracket but it looks terrible. And the company has no costumer service. Paid a lot of money, spent a lot of time, and now have to live with an inferior product. The bed is extremely nice, very satisfied with it overall, but if you end up in the same situation, you’re basically screwed. Good luck putting the genie back in the box. Look for a company with better costumer service…or any.

Sturdy but missing a welded part (photos 1 & 2) that holds the mattress so one bar cannot be attached and hardware And the scratches and dents on the frame were not good. I had difficulty attaching brackets(last photo) to the headboard because the holes were not cut properly. I had a very rough time putting this together and it shouldn’t have taken as long as it did for me to do so. Got a 2nd bed and took out what we needed and returned the rest. The bed squeaks a lot!! I think I tighten it almost every other day.
