This arrived rather dusty. Maybe it was sawdust? Or whatever, so I had to wipe it down with a damp cloth. I haven't needed to use the rubber bands or clip yet, but they function. It's a great surface to use for drawing, and I can sit comfortably curled up on my couch and not have to hunch over when I want to draw. It's not heavy, it feels like a typical clipboard, but a little sturdier. I've also used it as a surface for watercolor painting and it's great. The painter's tape doesn't rip or tear the surface of the board. This is exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. ... show more

I love this clipboard. I don’t have a good set up for doing arts so this allows me to work on my lap or work outside my apartment. It has one fairly thick rubber band. That was around to hold down one edge of the paper. I guess there should be two of those rubber bands on there. Also, those rubber bands are not gonna last very long. They should put a little baggie of additional ones. This is not that very fine high quality support, but it’s functional. ... show more

Love it as it holds everything I need when showing the kids what they are doing for the day. I am an art teacher and an artist . The fact that it can held like a palette and has the bottom ribbon to tuck items in , this multi functional fabulous item is wonderful for so many purposes.
