Fantastic reel that holds up to saltwater!

Have used this reel while wade fishing in the gulf and it has held up very well. I clean it with freshwater after each trip and that is it. It casts better than any other reel I own. Spool rubs against base

I don't know if others have the same issue but when i lock my reel seat down really tight i think the base/plastic beens and rubs against the spool because i feel alot of friction when cranking the handle....
