Preface: I am not into working out or going to the gym. Not a fitness fanatic. At all. I am a very short, and mostly too-skinny, ball of stress. This is what makes me skinny - stress. Skinny does not mean toned, however. I'm 41 and despite feeling like I look like Slender Man sometimes, I've started to develop the bat wing issue. I do no like feeling uncomfortable shifting gears in my car if there's a cute guy next me at the light. Feels like it just keeps on jiggling long after I've shifted. So I decided to get some simple weights that wouldn't take up much space in my tiny house (350sq ft. The whole house.) I needed something that would work and not take up precious real estate in my house. Amazon, ever clever, suggested these adjustable weights for me. I've never heard of adjustable weights like this before. They are exactly what I wanted! The weights disconnect from the main piece so easily but not when you don't want them to. They are not loose or flimsy, no play between the added weights at all. So long as you make sure they are fully clicked into place before you use them. Not easy to accidentally release them. They are squared off rather than round, which is nice if you worry about rolling and maybe if you want to do push up with them or something. I got the purple one, which is super pretty! Totally recommend! Wish me luck on getting Linda Hamilton arms! Hopefully these weights help me get there!

I'll probably get some heat for bringing grand ma into the conversation. Young and old then. I ordered these through VINE. The price point...that's why I took a star off. Maybe I'm wrong. The weight can be changed with ease. I have some other adjustable weights that scare my wife as there is a lot of clanking and adjusting. Anyway.... The dumbbells feel very solid....there is not need to worry about one of the weights falling off. I found them to be very comfortable in the hand also. The colors are attractive. I imagine there is a water cup out there that will go well with these...I ordered the pastel purple-I would call it that. One thing....bugs me and I knew it before the order and I'm not subtracting a point. I would prefer that the weight be rounded off. As an example, 6.6, lets make it 7.

I ordered this Adjustable Dumbbell Set, and I’m really impressed with its design for home workouts. Unlike other adjustable weights I’ve seen with larger weight increments, this set offers five precise levels (2.2lb, 3.3lb, 4.4lb, 5.5lb, 6.6lb) by attaching weights to both sides, eliminating the need for multiple small weights. Even better, you can attach a weight to just one side for an additional 0.55lb increment, though this makes one side heavier, which may affect balance. The plastic-to-plastic locking mechanism is quick and easy to engage or disengage, making weight changes seamless during a session. While the plastic construction feels sturdy enough for these lighter weights (totaling 13.2lb), I do wonder about its long-term durability, as plastic can weaken or break over time. It doesn’t feel cheap by any means, but a more robust material would have instilled greater confidence in its longevity. Overall, this set is perfect for full-body workouts at home, especially for women or men looking for compact, versatile hand weights with fine-tuned adjustments. I'll start by saying this is my second set of these weights. Nothing has happened to my first i just needed more. I purchased the purple and its a gorgeous color but let's get into why I love these SO MUCH! Its easy. From taking weights off to putting them on its super easy and locks into place very securely. Each weight has it listed on the side which makes it convenient when adding the weights into any workout tracker. I'm also able to add these weighted ends to my other set as well. Extremely versatile in usage like most weights. On the sides of each piece are buttons you connect by pushing in both at the same time to slide on and just release to lock into place. Great weights that dont feel too heavy. I'm an at home gym kinda person so I have a range of equipment but these are my go to when lifting.
