The optics of these binoculars are bright, crisp and clear. The large focus wheel makes for quick and easy focusing. The included tripod and cell phone mount are a real plus for recording images and though it is light weight, it actually works pretty well. By using the tripod, you don't need to hold them in your hand, and it makes keeping these 12X binoculars steady when set up on a solid surface. I can't wait to try this setup on the moon on a clear evening! The whole kit is very light and will be great for travel. I plan to keep mine on the boat and since they are advertised as waterproof and should work well in that application. The outer surface has a grippy feel to it and should be good when you have wet hands. The front and rear lens covers fit snugly and should keep the optics clean, dry and ready for use. The media could not be loaded. They are portable and a little lighter than the previous ones and easy to adjust, as the description indicates. They have a clear lens with a iridescent green tone, which helps to focus with precision and detail on any near or far object. The quality of the material and the ergonomic shape make it easy to hold them without them slipping. especially when your hands sweat. It will be a useful instrument to enjoy with the family. They are very well packed for shipping and everything came in perfect condition. They come with a ton of extra stuff, stand, cleaning cloth, lens covers, strap ect. They are easy to use and understand the directions. They are very nice for the price point. Nice size, great views! Love the tripod which makes bird watching, stargazing etc. very easy and steady. The phone attachment is nice too. Would make nice gift for anyone or for yourself. It says it is waterproof so if you get caught in the rain would be great! Can’t wait to see some close up stars.

I have a pair of Vortex binos that are maybe 10% better but quadruple the price. As far as value to dollar ratio, you can’t go wrong with these. Super happy with my purchase. Highly recommend for anyone that needs high quality binks but doesn’t want to spend the money for a name brand. They are heavy enough to feel solid and well built, but not so heavy they are difficult to carry around. Eye relief is nice, glass clarity is better than expected. Buy these you can’t go wrong. These binoculars are amazing! Comes with lens covers, straps, carrying case with another strap, attachment for phone (more about that later), tripod, lens cleaner and the usually missing owners manual with detailed instructions and a lifetime warranty. My grandson was blown away with the phone attachment. He put the binoculars on the provided tripod and attached his phone to the binoculars and turned on the camera and the image from the binoculars appeared on his phone. That is great for hunting, leaves hands free while viewing image on your phone. Easily move to different angles simply by moving tripod to a different place. Guess I'll have to order another pair if I plan on using them as my grandson has laid claim to this pair! Well worth it though at this price. ... show more

After doing some research on binoculars for an upcoming birdwatching trip I decided to get these as soon as I open them up I realize that they feel heavy, and you can really feel the quality. The instructions were clear on how to hook up your phone to take pictures through the lenses. However, I think I’ll probably just keep using them as binoculars because they very are good.
