I won’t lie, I was kind of apprehensive about buying this since there weren’t any reviews or photos. But I decided to purchase anyway! Very unique bookshelf design with glass shelves. I needed a shelf to store some stained glass equipment and didn’t want to keep it all on my desk. I needed something that would hold a good amount of weight on each shelf. The shelf itself is seems to be pretty sturdy, so it should last a while! The package was shipped in a small box and I was concerned it was way smaller than expected at first; however, it’s a good height and exactly as expected! The glass was packaged separately and safely. I assembled it myself and would recommend a second hand when putting this together—although it’s definitely doable to put together alone. I just wish the screws on the sides were a little more hidden, but overall it’s a great shelf and a great deal! ... show more

This shelving unit turned out to be a good deal for the money. I was able to set it up by myself in a short amount of time. Although it’s a bit smaller than I envisioned, it worked out fine. The “gold” color is not as bright as I expected but it’s lovely just the same. It held a fair amount of books and seems to be sturdy. I did not brace it to the wall but if you have young children in the home you may want to consider that with the provided tools. this is a cool shelf but it is not worth $45, maybe $25, $27 or $30 but not $45 and that is plus regarding tax and whatever else, it just looks like another seller that is selling this to get a quick buck off consumers that probably paid $10 for this from china to sell to customers like myself and i feel robbed honestly.. this shelf looks like something i would get from five below, seriously.. its nice but its not an eyecatcher. im giving this two stars because the instructions were absolutely confusing and it took me nearly over an hour maybe to complete. the metal or whatever material this is was absolutely flimsy putting together which annoyed the total crap outta me.. and regarding the color - if you're looking to get this in a bright gold, don't purchase this because the gold option is almost like a pastel dark olive or a dark off gold. it is no where gold, and going on regarding the size, it is a small to medium shelf. its almost like a plant shelf, to be honest.. anyways, i bought this to store and organize my purses/bags and it is very low setting perhaps. i wish it was taller as shown, i like and dislike it, i was expecting this to be big like the picture advertised but it is not at all tall. it is almost 4ft. so yes, i am very disappointed! ... show more
