I got this car port for my parents since they just bought new cars, and my mom always worries about long-term sun damage on the car paint. It arrived earlier than we expected so that was nice. Once we had leveled the ground, building it was pretty fast, my dad and cousin built it and had it set up in about a day and a half. We did set the legs into the ground with concrete to stabilize it and so it doesn't fly off in the wind. Its big enough for 2 SUVs without having to worry about opening the car doors. So far, it's been a good purchase and worth the money.

This is a premature review of this carport, as it's only been up in our yard for under a month at this time. After a few more months and a few storms I will try to remember to revisit this review to update the status. That said, so far, so good. It was easy to assemble, all parts were clearly marked, and it even looks pretty good. Taking the advice from friends who have had pop-up tents and carports blow away and rip apart, it was highly recommended that we double and triple down on weights and supports, to safeguard against wind. That said, we have attached 2 cinder blocks to each of the 8 legs using 500 lb ratchet straps (not included). We also purchased much larger anchor stakes (not included) and connected them back to the legs with even larger 1,000 lb ratchet straps (also not included). The packaging shows that the kit includes 8 empty sandbags, but unfortunately our kit only included 4. These sandbags look small, but they can actually hold almost 50 lbs of sand each, although you can't close them if you fill them - they have to remain open-topped, which is probably okay. A better closing system for the bags would have been nice, and if the kit didn't short us by 4 bags, maybe we would have added another 1/2 a star. We filled the 4 bags that we did receive, balanced on top of the 4 outer corner cinder blocks. One friend suggested we buy eight 6 gallon buckets, place one support leg into each, and then fill each bucket to the top with cement. This seemed extreme, so we opted for the cinder blocks, but the 6 gallon cement bucket is definitely much heavier and likely more stable - especially if you plan on keeping this unit up for a long time. We are using ours temporarily, and hope to disassemble it within 6 months. We also purchased a heavy duty 16ft x 20ft tarp that we will drape over the current roof and tie down, in hopes of keeping the original carport cover protected.

Great little carport for the price! I’m happy with the fact my lifted Chevy Tahoe fits underneath it perfectly as I’d hoped. I paid someone to assemble/install so I can’t speak to that.

I just finished putting together the Carport. It took 3 people about 5 hours to put it together. You definitely need at least 2 people 3 is much better. There are tons of screw to screw in and lots and tighten. Overall, I was satisfied with the Carport. I was a little bummed that the Website does not give a true color of the Carport. It looks like the roof is Black and it is actually a Grey like color. I do like the Grey don't get me wrong, but wish the pictures were more accurate. Overall for the price and the quality I do like it.
